IvyCamp has created a series around the life cycle of successful and unsuccessful startups. The idea is to create case studies (live and recorded) whereby an entrepreneur talks through the cycle of their startup from ideation to where they are today.
The entrepreneur tells us in their own words about their journey, decisions, successes, failures etc. The goal is that the startups hear first-hand, learn and relate.
To enable a greater degree of interaction with an entrepreneur the attendance is limited to 25 startups.
This series is kicking off in IIM Bangalore on 21st Jan, 2017.

Entrepreneurs:
Shradha Sharma is Founder and CEO of YourStory, India’s biggest and most loved media platform for stories of entrepreneurs and change-makers. Shradha lives her life in stories. And believes that every story is unique and every story matters. She started YourStory in 2008, when the ‘startup’ wasn’t a buzzword. Most people thought it was a hobby, a blog, and not a serious business idea. Shradha has happily proved them wrong – YourStory is now India’s biggest media tech platform, having published 40,000 stories of entrepreneurs and change-makers, not only in English but also in 12 Indian languages. Shradha has won several awards as an entrepreneur and continues to inspire and motivate people with every story she narrates.
Born into a conservative middle-class family in Patna, Bihar, Shradha moved to New Delhi to study History at St Stephen’s College for her Bachelor and Master’s degree and then went on to do design management at MICA, Ahmedabad. Shradha worked as Brand Advisor with the Times of India group, after which she moved to CNBC-TV18 where she became the youngest-ever AVP. Shradha soon realized she wanted people to know about the new breed of entrepreneurs who were just setting out to change the landscape of business and innovation in India and quit her corporate career to set up YourStory.
Over the years, Shradha has won many awards as an entrepreneur. In February 2016, she was featured in Fortune magazine’s ‘40 under 40’ list of powerful Indians. In 2015, she won the ET award for Promising Entrepreneurs of India, as well as the L’Oréal Femina Online Influencer. The same year, she was one of LinkedIn’s top 3 online influencers in India and among the top 500 in the world. Most recently, in June 2016, Shradha won CNBC-TV18’s Young Women Business Leaders Award. In 2016, Shradha was once again featured in LinkedIn’s Power Profiles among influential professionals from different realms globally.
After being bootstrapped for seven years, YourStory received funding from Ratan Tata, Kalaari Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, and TV Mohandas Pai in August 2015.
Paritosh Gupta, COO Zoomcar has an experience in fundraising and implementation of systems and processes to scale organizations.
Prior to Zoomcar, Paritosh helped build a mining company in Vietnam, where he also met his wife. Paritosh enabled the company to grow from scratch and took it to a valuation of $1bn. As CFO of the company, he helped raise over $700mn in capital for the project and also led the formation of a partnership with a leading German player in the industry. He has earlier worked with Lehman Brothers with their proprietary investing team and has also been an entrepreneur in the education space. Paritosh is an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Bangalore.
