  1. Hi Asha,

We have built a product called Pkutstore (your invite link – https://pkt.re/?r=jkhJ). We aim to solve the following problems:

    1. Too many tools – A number of communication & work management tools are used in a typical company – email client, chat client, bug tracking tool, task management tool, CRM, knowledge sharing tool, file sharing tool etc. We aim to club all these into a single page. Immediate benefits – cost saved by the company in deploying all these tools + effort duplication reduced (in tracking work at so many places).

    2. Entry barrier to such tools – In most organizations, people are so habitual to using emails that any tool finds it very hard to permeate enterprises. Each tool requires training, while 20% people always use emails and drag others back to email. So for this, firstly, we aim to be email in itself. Our workflow is just like email. Secondly, we also plan to become an email client by import and export of emails in and out of our tool.

We launched our first version in Jan’16 after investing substantial time and money and are currently iterating the product in closed beta. As you can see, if we are successful in solving the above two problems, it can be huge.

Personally, as an entrepreneur, this is my second startup. First one failed (link to a discussion at that time: https://www.therodinhoods.com/forum/topics/needed-advice-advertising) . And, we have already registered for TieCon on 23rd. Would be great if we get a chance to pitch.

    Thanks a lot!

  2. hey interesting prateek!!

on a different note – feel free to showcase this when your ready on trh!

btw how are u different from rudrajeet’s workapps?

    https://www.therodinhoods.com/forum/topics/presenting-workapps-a-new-age-work-management-platform

  3. Hey Asha,

Just went through Workapps. If you could please login, you would see the difference. Pkutstore is much more simpler! It’s just like using Email, as I said.

Currently we are in the process of changing our name, will definitely showcase it when this domain migration thing is done.

So how about Startup Expo? Do we have a chance to pitch there?

  4. hii

“faith and hope clothing” should be given a chance, though we are facing some issues but they are for matter of days.

1.clothing is fun:it’s always so good to have nice clothes in our wardrobe.our products are worth every penny spent.(our clients say so).we provide excellent after sales service.

2.we have completed 3 years: we have completed 3 years in market and have sold goods worth around 1.40 crore in 2.25 years(haven’t sold much since 9 months).

3.huge market: fashion and most of things related to fashion have endless market which has great capabilities all around the world as it is one the basic needs of humans so i hope we all going to wear clothes forever

4.we had been profitable: in operation of years company directly never met with loss(founders did but company never).so we know how to keep running company without burning anybody’s cash.

5.we are simple:there is no need of any scientist or brainstorming for understanding what we do and if you are one of those like me, who don’t know how to make good application or internet company, you are welcome we are AAM AADMI who actually bunked all the computer classes.

6.we solve problem too:we are among few companies who are making garments upto whooping size of 5xl,so even “the great khali ” comes to us he will not be disappointed.

7.Besharam : we are very hopeless set of people.if we like you than we will be keep knocking your door till the time either you get fully frustrated and call the cops(never happened) or accept to work with us.just tell us what we are doing wrong when it comes to product.we are always looking to improve.if we are not able to solve your issue we will never show up.

already tickets are booked for Delhi so in any case we will be there only.so better give us chance officially.thanks

  5. prateek

    a) we will wait for more rodinhoooders to respond and decide and announce on monday.

    b) there is no pitch! startups have been shortlisted to get stalls to SHOWCASE themselves. as their partner, we were given a table for TheRodinhoods to meet & greet visitors and startup founders there in the PARTNER LOUNGE. so in TRH community spirit, we wanna give our table to a deserving rodinhooder to showcase his/her venture 🙂

  6. Hi Asha,

Dobble is a great collaboration and communication tool for large organisations/ groups. Born out of the philosophy of “One world family”, Dobble means to connect large number of community members on a single platform.

For many users, Dobble provides go-to networks for seeking professional and personal help about business/ job opportunities, contacts, references and more. For some organisations, Dobble is the easiest way to manage communication across large geographies for example managing a group of 100,000 volunteers and courses across the country. For other organisations it is the best way to stay connected with its channel partners/ associates. Dobble networks today are active in the Alumni, Official, Organisational, Business-channel, and Residential categories.

As we have successfully tested our model with 1-2 clients in most of these categories. Dobble is now looking for mentors and funding in order to grow within these segments and develop the product capable of handing thousands of such large communities.

  7. hey all,

we’ve extended the last date of the contest till EOD today (april 17)!

  9. Hi Asha,

    LAUNCHING Yobring!!!

This is the 2nd startup, first being Falphool, still bootstrapped and delivering orders in Dwarka, and so far has been a great learning experience. There we will pivoting to get the model right.

Now about Yobring -> Search and fulfill requests while you travel. The video below sums it all for you.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TxfUpZbfao&rel=0

               Problem I’ve tried to address:

At times we want certain items(while surfing internet) which we and want it badly but those are not easily available may be because of geography constraints or price being hefty locally or design not available locally or any other factor. The end result we avoid those products…!!

             Now with Yobring

You have the chance of getting it by simply uploading the requirement on Yobring, if there is anyone who is travelling notices the request, he can bring that product to you.

             OR

The one who is travellng can post their travel plan along with their offers(if any):

If they can bring something with them they can upload their offer, if somebody is interested in that offer he can contact the traveller.

Now what if YOBRING has been there:

So all in all win-win for both the parties(Traveller and buyer).

An Interesting(and real) story happened few days back:

While reading Prateek Shah’s(Fellow rodinhooder and thorough gentleman) Facebook post where he mentioned that digitaldefynd has been on Times of India, I opened newspaper and saw digitaldefynd on the first page. I congratulated him there but on the the side of that I saw something that defies all logic, why only American was able to bring Prosthetic Limb for Shaktiman. Possibly thought I could have launched Yobring earlier and leg would have been brought by some Indian Professional, but it was not to be.

Anyways thank you for reading it so far, If anyone feels this idea to be interesting plz do comment and give your feedback.

I plan to launch beta this week.

Looking forward to Asha’s and Alok Sir’s comment.

    Happy Sunday to ALL!!

  10. hey sunil,

either way pls launch yobring on trh in our showcase section! good luck!

ps: therodinhoods is mentioned on the same ad in TOI & ET :))

  11. Hi Asha,

    Sure.

    Thanks& regards

  12. Hi Rodinhoods,

“You feel you know, how your customer uses your services until you have actually seen them using it”

UserExperior is b2b technology start-up whose objective is to to help organizations deliver a better user experience on their mobile apps by providing visual insights on the apps usability.

One of the key parameters for a mobile app success is how usable(easy to use) the app is and the only way to know if your app is easy to use or not is to see your customers using your app. (Yes SEE) actual visually seeing how your customer are navigating through your app.

UserExperior is capable of visual recording the entire user interaction within your app without impacting the apps behaviour or performance. Our platform can be used during the design stages of your app, soft launches, usability testing and even in live environments to capture usability challenges faced by users.

While you are reading this post we are working towards evolving the product and making it better based on the feed backs that we are getting from various demos that we are now conducting. Hence we are keeping our ears open to feed backs and improving our product. The product is live in closed beta and soon will be made live and we would be very keen to seek feedback from fellow Rodinhoods.

As Alok recently mentioned in one of his posts on b2b, its only sales and customer meetings defines the product and it is with the same objective we want participate in this event, to make our selves visible to the world and get an opportunity to position our product to potential customers.

    Thanks you !

  13. Hi Asha,

First of all I would like to thank you for sharing this opportunity with the Rodinhooders to present themselves for this opportunity.

    @Rodinstars,

Have you ever thought how many patients that visit doctor in a day or month have the same personal metrics and same problems and end up getting the same advice from a doctor?

Have you ever though how many people who visit nutritionist for personal nutrition advice have the similar personal metrics, similar personal health & fitness goals ends up getting the same advice.

Do you see a pattern between the groups of people throughout the country with same personal metrics and goals/problems who visit doctor or nutritionists? The only difference here is their personal motivation and choices.

We have sports players in India who never reached up to National or International level games because they cannot afford advice, leading to poor fitness. People who are into different kind of health and fitness activity pays for the nutrition advice but that’s not only expensive but also limited to time period until they pay for it (call a doctor/nutritionist after your consultation is over and see how they react).

    So,

    • What if we bring this personalized advice in user hands 24*7 and also helps them get answer to every query that they might have so as to achieve better health and fitness goal.
    • What if a player who couldn’t afford an advice and didn’t knew how much nutrition was required for him to become competitive player for the country could determine daily personal nutrition needs with personalized advice and become a star of this nation.

So here we are, I came back to India to start MyFitFuel. With the help of awesome team and wonderful co-founder, we will help user get 24*7 personalized nutrition advice on their finger tips on web and mobile and help them fulfill the nutrition gap through personalized food and nutrition products. Not only this advice will be free, personalized but will also help users ask their personal questions and get answers to them anytime they want.

We have been providing advice manually to validate the problem and until then we brought few products according to users required nutrition goals. We have achieved 8 Digit revenue figure a year milestone and building technology to bring this advice.

We have a belief that personal education and knowledge is right of every human being and good advice always helps in better future/implementation.

    Thanks for reading our story.

    Cheers,

    Anuj Arora.

    Founder, CEO
