At contests2win.com, we need an independent consultant to work (preferably on-site) on our existing RoR-based website, www.c2w.com.
The work involves adding and modifying specific functionality to the website.
Ideal Candidate
You would be a RoR developer who is good at understanding existing set-ups (we use RoR with Postgres, running on Apache, hosted on Amazon EC2 with Akamai for our content-delivery).
You should have at least 3 years experience developing consumer-facing RoR websites, and should be exposed to optimising website performance.
Ideally you would be based in Mumbai, but that is not a criteria.
Timeline
This is not a full time job. We are in a launch phase that you will need to be involved in. Post the same, we will be happy to retain you as a consultant, on a need to need basis.
Remuneration
Given that this is a project assignment, we will be happy to sit with you and scope out the job and the fees you may want to charge us. Post the same, we will offer you a consultancy deal.
