BlackBerry V/S Neelesh Pednekar

What is the toughest thing to do?

Achieve targets? No

Win against a nagging boss? No

Convince a client? No

IT IS TO FIND A BLACKBERRY SUPPORT EMAIL ADDRESS OR TELEPHONE NUMBER

I had a blackberry curve which lost its display within 7 months (I am sure I am not the only one with this issue). I gave it to the Redington service center in Khar who were so in love with my phone that they decided to keep it with the them for 2 weeks.

Later they tell me that the instrument is screwed because of moisture and it is not a part of the warranty. Also, I will have to pay them an additional Rs 200 as inspection charges.

I have lost business worth INR 5 million just since the donkey’s din’t give me a replacement for those 2 weeks.

Furthermore, there are only two contact numbers and neither are available to get in touch.

I have sent them tonnes and tonnes of emails, not received a single reply.

Guys, I need you help.

Please suggest what needs to be done with this company?

Shall I sue them for 5 million?

Whatever the outcome, Blackberry

You may not be able to sue this company…..

Blackberry provides a software …whereby you can backup your blackberry…which is to be stringently followed every month…better to be safe than sorry 🙂

  2. Good luck with fixing your BB ! I got two white horizontal lines on day 3 and the retailer says its a common problem worldwide..maybe thats their standard excuse. Reasons included “over use” to “its just temporary” to “memory leak”… and they cannot help in either case. Now I have 6 of these lines.

So I have decided I will never ever suggest a BB (which anyway is just a glorified messaging phone) to anyone ever in my life. User interface, app store, processing speed, file transfer, tethering  – all of them get 0.5 out of 10.

  3. get in touch with dhaval valia!

  4. Hey,

I had a similar problem with my BB. Try calling Sushil on 09892643239. He is the manager at the Khar outlet of Redington n a friendly chap…might b of help…He replaced my old handset and got me a new one at no cost 🙂 ..all the best

  5. Thanks Guys for your help!

I was able to get replacement from BlackBerry and decided not to get into the litigation way.

However, I still feel BlackBerry should improvise on 2 things:

    1) Their product quality

    2) Their service vendors

    Cheers!
