I recently attended a BNI event as a visitor and the overall concept looks interesting. Members discussed big numbers and everything looks good from outside. So, I would like to have a first hand feedback from someone who is (or has been) a BNI member. Few specific questions are as follows:

If you are in a niche profession (say you are a consultant for mergers and acquisitions or a PHP developer) - unlikely to be of much help.
