Bulk SMS service and Paying using operator – Please share knowledge!

Hi all

Although I asked this question to someone who is into industry where he provides startups with 1800 tollfree numbers and fire security and similar stuff, I couldn’t get clear answer from him. There are two things I would like to know.

1. There are services of SMS from companies where sender is like NSE or HIKE or AMAZON sends you auto-generated text where FROM section is named already with some codes. Such SMS we receive from Airtel, Docomo, Idea, Reliance as well.

Q: How can we get such service from our own startup or growing company?

2. NewsHunt is bigtime on news, in startup world anyway. The most peculiar thing they did is to sell the books online starting from Re 1. You can books from Re 1 to any number. The more peculiar thing is that you pay for that book using operator. This would be awesome for those who are still afraid to use credit/debit cards online to buy things. This will be big help for those who sell online thing but cost is under Rs 15 for their product/service.

Q: How can we make such cart system where app user can pay using the money they have in their mobile phone as balance?

If anyone knows of these both/either, please share your information. I think this could be a huge info and help to lot of people.

they give all methods and PHP Web Service is also available

    2) Search for Carrier Billing or mobile operator billing

People can pay using their mobile balance but margin is very high(50%)

  3. For Point No .1 – There are plenty of companies for Bulk SMS and Transactional SMS. One that we have started using is Solutions Infini (http://www.solutionsinfini.com)

For Point No. 3 – You can try talking to PayTM and Airtel Money for that. Airtel Money came into existence to address this precise need.
