Website name can be trademarked.
You will have to first identify if the same name is used by someone else. You can get that by requesting a trademark search (Fee:- INR 500).

If its already in use (anywhere) you'll have to figure out a different name & if its not in use ... bingo !!! Apply for the trademark.

Thanks a lot for the reply,have been waiting for some one to reply :)

The one which i am using now is www.jobsplane.in and i also have the .net & .co.in extensions for this..

None else is using this,but the .com is parked by some domain registration company..so can i still go ahead with copyright?

Having a domain name & trademark are different. I just checked the website & jobsplane logo.

Lets say you buy the domain name snapdeal.fr, sanpdeal.in, snapdeal.whatever 
You can use the domain names for your website But, you can not trademark or use - snapdeal if its already trademarked.

The best way is to get a trademark search done for jobsplane.
