The Open House in Mumbai on December 7th was awesome! It was heart-warming to meet so many amazing people and hear about their dreams, vision, and ideas.
The Champion – Girisha Hosanagara
The highlight for me was when Girisha said that he wants to win the Gold medal in the next Olympics for India. That one statement taught me that true champions are always hungry for more. They believe in the maxim : “You don’t win silver. You lose gold”. That was very motivational indeed :-).
The day was even more special for me because I had the opportunity to present dezyna.com and coincidently, it was also my birthday.

What is dezyna.com?
dezyna.com is a combination of a product discovery platform and a social referral platform.
The product discovery platform enables anyone to discover products shared and recommended by experts and tastemakers.
The social referral platform enables merchants to create referral campaigns to reward experts whenever a sale happens due to their recommendation.
A “Share it” button is embedded on the product page on the merchant’s site. A unique referral link is automatically created each time a user clicks on the button. The user can share this link on social networks or blogs.
Why do I think it’s a good idea?
1. The social referral platform enables merchants to reduce cost of customer acquisition because it’s performance driven. Merchants pay only when a sale happens. It helps them increase brand visibility and turn fans into social sellers.
2. Tastemakers earn cash when a sale happens and can establish themselves as experts by sharing awesome products.
3. Users can discover awesome products and collections handpicked and recommended by tastemakers.
What’s the next step?
We’re running a FREE pilot for online merchants and I believe that it can be very useful for startups because our platform is completely performance based. You reward the referrer only when a sale happens on your site.
