  1. Hahahahaha – I just promoted this on Linkedin:

All startups need PR. But the business of PR is confusing, time consuming and costly.

Here is a simple guide for first timers who have little experience in PR!

Download the PPT from Slideshare for your reference via the link below:

  3. Hi Yunus,

I’d be happy to connect with you offline and share some ideas on how you could get media to your event – solely telling them that you’re having an exhibition is not going to work. You need to find out what’s the hook – India’s first/Top Speakers/Unique event format etc.

You will be able to target 2 sorts of media – those who do event listings (you can find that out easily by calling the newspaper landline and asking to be connected to those who do ‘listings’) and those who do lifestyle journalism. Please also research B2B Tourism Publications as well as your usual Conde Nast and so on keeping in mind that magazines operate 2 months ahead of schedule to meet printing obligations.

The best way to create a media relationship is by building your list slowly – no point taking someone’s list and mass mailing as no one will end up responding to you…

You can reach me on perzen.patel@gmail.com for more insights if you’d like.

  4. Thanks Perzen,

Will mail you some more details , to gain some more insights regarding this.
