Follow me, and I shall follow thee!

I am a part of an exciting fb group of community managers where they share/ask stuff about community management. Someone shared her twitter handle and asked everyone else to share their twitter handles as well so she could follow them!

First I thought what a dumb post. And exactly 10 seconds later (yeah, I’m a tubelight at times!) it dawned upon me that it was such a cool way for that girl to break the ice in an informal group of people who enable others to stay connected!!

And as the tubelight shone brighter, it got me thinking – we keep talking about social media growth hacks (here’s a brilliant one from Karan!) – we are 11,500+ Rodinhooders – why don’t we follow each other/connect with each other over twitter & linkedin…? It might also help us reach out to each other faster when in need (yeah I ping lots of folks over twitter – it’s so helpful in community management!!)

I’m not doing a google doc. This is more for the sake of immediately following to stay connected. And not really to document (at this point).

[What I would suggest though, is pls also add your linkedin link & twitter handle on your own TRH Profile Page (just edit it and add) – that becomes a permanent documentation and people can always reach out to you when they need to!]. Also if you always add your twitter handle to your posts, it helps me mention you while tweeting your post!

A lot of people confuse therodinhoods’ handles with Alok’s. They are completely different and operated by two different human beings 🙂
