“Free Google Ad-Campaign for your Start-up!”
We, Team Ad-Venturers, are a bunch of marketing enthusiasts from TAPMI, Manipal B-School. We are participating in Google Online Marketing Challenge(GOMC) wherein we will be advertising a start up business/company with an initial investment of $250 dollar (Rs.15,000).

So what’s next?
- Send in your company/start up profiles so that we can start this wonderful journey of 21 days. Some of the important aspects of your start up that we need are:
- Should have a website with decent amount of traffic
- No history of Google Ad Campaigns carried out by your start-up in the last 6 months.
You can apply anytime before this month end. We will then select one (max two) start ups after calling every owner and consultation with our professor.

Hi Mansoor,
Yes, it is mandatory. Google says we are allowed to run this campaign for a start up which has not run an adv campaign fr the last 6 months or has not used Google Adwords at all.
So yes thats last six months! I l edit it soon. 🙂

Decent is a very subjective word sir! A Bangalore based start up last year worked with our seniors too had decent traffic, around 2-3k per week. After the campaign they got around 15k views and our team got selected further. So even a decent traffic startup would need marketing services and here Google is involved and they are giving it for FREE. Secondly if u are referring to the six months history conditions, that is Google’s prerequisite. You can check it out on their GOMC website. I hope that helps sir!

Hello friends,
Just an update.
We have got 8 entries so far and they are all really good start ups. We would call them soon after the vacations.
This campaign would kick off either in January or April (21 days) depending upon the start ups requirement.
Again, this community has helped us in meeting right people so that we could learn and help.
