So you have a great business idea. Even a plan! But you’re stuck for FUNDS...?

You’re a cute little startup and can’t wait to scale up. But you don’t have that kinda money...?

[I can keep listing situations... But I won’t ‘coz I know you’ve got the drift!]

Fret not.

First things first. If you don't know how to go about pitching your business to get funded - simply read on...

i) There is a READYMADE FUNDING PITCH TEMPLATE here on TheRodinhoods created by Alok for you!

ii) Use it!

iii) Create an awesome post (by adding a DISCUSSION) telling everyone about your startup.

iv) Embed your Funding Pitch PPT in the post.

v)  Save under FUNDING PITCHES!

The rest will happen. Because you will make it happen!

All the best :)

p.s: we realised a separate category was needed to draw attention to members who are looking at being funded...

great initiative:)

The initiative is great and I do need mentoring and funding as I am working on my start up. But I want to know how safe is my idea? Its open internet, no copyright.

ashish,

we don't take responsibility for ideas. no one can! you've been around long enough to know we are a community of seasoned as well as struggling entrepreneurs who help each other constantly.

suggestion - write a post in ASK - mentioning basic non confidential stuff about your venture and what kind of a mentor you're looking for. perhaps a rodinhooder may volunteer to be your mentor....???

The revenue modelling aspect of the ppt is really nice.. I liked the ppt as a whole. Thanks for sharing....

Hello everyone and specially Asha. Am new to this site as I just stumbled upon by sheer luck while actually looking for something like this just in two clicks.

I'am pursuing my start up since couple of years and truly I have realized the importance of funding. My initial start up was zero capital; absolutely dependent on payments. Went far ahead for 2 yrs and then I could feel the jerks in cash flow.

To conclude with if Ideas are presented in a way where the figures look little interesting and is backed by a good USP I think there is not much chance of someone stealing the Ideas. @ Ashish do not worry, you just need to be confident in what you are presenting and always research about the person before you put forth your idea.

Being a new member here, this was really helpful. TYVM Asha :-)

glad you found it helpful rohan!

What does 'Rodinhood' mean?

Rodinhood is inspired from Rodin - who sculpted 'The Thinker' and Robin Hood who 'got things done'. Hence Thinking+Doing = Rodinhood.
