Dear friends,
Two of my friends had started an online book store around two years back. After sometime of starting, the business was able to generate moderate number of orders and some profit too. However, over the time to create a brick and mortar model, my friends started to supply books to different universities / institution libraries. This is where there problem started.
As of today, they don’t have working capital (even to oblige online orders as well as offline orders). Payment is stuck with some offline clients. Courier company bills / office rental etc is adding to pending bills.
Last weekend both of them had a details discussion with me and we took a stock of the situation. End result was either shut the shop or get the funding anyhow.
