Need your suggesions
Recently when i am searching for a Co-Founder for our Adventure Sports based online portal through various social media platform (you can see my post regarding that : https://www.therodinhoods.com/forum/topics/looking-for-a-co-founder-strictly-mumbai-based)
i got good response from other Rodinhooders & also from other platform..
but one response which i got from a already settled company in the field of Content marketing ,SEO & online marketing . …is forced me to start this Discussion.
As i am little worried about the fact that why this company’s CEO showing so much interest in our project when he is already involve in other two successful ventures .. in our email conversation he told “he was quite keen on starting a new venture in mumbai & anyway planning to expand to Adventure Sports market….and he is also not worried about immediate returns (which sounds good to a start up 🙂 )”
So i need you suggestion whether to think on his proposal……basically we will transfer all the Content related work to him (if we go ahead) means he will be the Content Head for our project as a Co-Founder…. Content is a base of our stat-up as it a information sharing platform in the first place. & we have different strategies for content creation & there sources. ….so back of my mind i have the fear that if something goes wrong…..then he will be having our entire plan plus the capability to execute it (as he is already in that business of content creation, running 2 successful ventures) etc.
So need Your guidance regarding this ….what should i do..?

Don’t go for anything verbal, have all minute details discussed-to-the-bone, terms of cancellation of contract, crystallized and on paper.

There is a discussion which I had with Vijay some time back about his venture, a matrimonial site platform called Maangal.com. After our offline our discussion, he realised that Bharat Matrimony which is the no. 2 matrimony website in India has copied one of the ideas.

It will always be the situation of people copying or doing the same things as you. Even big companies like Naukri, Facebook also faced the same. Its just about your commitment and implementation which will win you the battle.
Also remember for the other guy , this is one of the many things he will do. For you its the only thing.
Believers never fail!!! Just go ahead with what you believe is the right thing.
