Brief :
Are you still using the age old “calendar” to track your subscriptions of milk, laundry clothes and newspapers / magazines – where you note down the changes on calendar and sum it up at end of the months ?
To make things simpler , I have developed an iPhone app “kitchen calendar” which helps you keep track of your monthly subscriptions of milk, newspaper/magazine and laundry clothes and you can get the bills for any period using this app.
How it works :
1. enter details of your regular subscriptions for milk / newspapers (e.g. for milk, it would be rate, quantity , while for newspaper/magazine/laundry it would be rates).
2. Whenever you deviate (e.g. no milk/paper days) , enter the change as exception. For laundry, you can just enter the number of clothes and services (press/dryclean)
3. That’s it – Easily get bill amount for any period !
Story :
The idea struck me when my wife forgot to note down details of laundry clothes and was figuring out if there was a better way to manage it ! Right now it is only on iPhone , but I am getting it created on Android as well.

Hi Swapnil, sounds like a neat idea. Maybe you should explore starting a subscription service for the said household items using the app as the user interface. That would be quite something.
