Marketing for startups

Hello Rodnhooders

I wanted to hear from you all about marketing strategies for startups on a very low budget.

to be specific , I run a micro enterprise called launchpad Academy based in Bangalore. We organize short workshops and training mostlt for engineering students, freshers and anyone interested.

Till now we have conducted events on Automobile Design, Aircraft Mechanics, Robotics and Android.

I find Marketing our courses to be the most challenging task. We have tried putting up posters in colleges, some amount of facebook ads etc.

I request the rodinhooders to suggest other methods and strategies which i can try out.

Thank you for agreeing to post this question on Rodinhood.

I have not gone through your website so for now
following are some of the quickies :
– register your courses on training directories like –http://www.training-classes.com
– list your services on all possible classifed websites like olx,clickindia etc,
– enquire listing with Siksha.com and Sulekha , these are paid but cost effective.
– participate on community events or websites related to your subjects

I will study your website and add more specific ideas later.
Doing just this much should keep you busy 🙂

1. Have campus ambassadors
2. Participate in tech fests happening in colleges

3. Organise contests related to your courses both online & offline

4. Send mailer to corporates and do workshops for their employee
