Moving to Bangalore to Startup

Hey,

I moved to Bangalore this week to grow my startup. I am currently working alone, but will be needing some people on board soon.

I really like Indira Nagar, and am looking for residential accommodation here. Can anyone help? I am trying through brokers, but I haven’t found anything great yet. I am looking for a 2 BHK under 25K in a nice locality

Does anyone know of any co working spaces in, or around, Indira Nagar?

I don’t really know anyone here, and it would be great to network with fellow geeks 🙂

  2. Hey Nishant,

Welcome to Bengaluru 🙂 Here is my contact number 81970 66560.

I donl’t know any brokers, but there are plenty of coworking spaces in city. I work from Bangalore Alpha Labs (in JP nagar), I am also connected to local community here (as a lot of people mentioned by Asha).

I will be happy to answer any questions you might have (As I also moved 1.5 years ago to Bangalore) and have been hustling my way around here 🙂

    Natwar

  3. Oh great. I was thinking of staying somewhere near Jayanagar, and then working in BAL’s JP Nagar office, but I gathered that Indiranagar was more cosmopolitan than South B’lore. Is that true?

And how does Indiranagar compare to Koramangala? Is the latter more crowded? I am currently divided between Indiranagar and Koramangala.

  4. Both Indiranagar and Koramangala are really nice. Both are crowded, both have huge traffic problems 🙂 In my limited experience in Bangalore, both are alomost same.

  5. Hi Nishant! Welcome to B’lore. I used to live in Indiranagar 8 years ago, and really liked Indiranagar, Koramangala then. However when I moved back here 5-6 months ago, finding a decent place to stay in both places was a pain so I ended up choosing Jayanagar. Jayanagar might not be as cosmo as Koramangala but it is much greener/cleaner. Plus there are not many new buildings in South Bangalore so you might not find a gated complex to stay easily if that’s your choice. But overall, I like Jayanagar so far. Koramangala is 20 min by auto/car from where I live.

If you’re looking for co-working spaces, JP Nagar has BAL like Natwar mentioned.
