  2. Hi
I personally use http://www.gaurilla.com and have been finding it very useful and effective. It has the main features I need like creating recurring invoices, quotes, recording all transactions and keeping a good check on all the accounting. You can try it out and see if it fits your purpose.

  3. Chinmay,

    Thank you.

My purpose is just to manage office bills and service invoices. My CA is suggesting me to use Telly. Because he is more comfortable on it. Will Gaurilla be equally useful for my CA at the time of auditing.

    Regards

    Nitin

  4. Dear Alok,

    Than you.

    I’ve sent the mail.

  5. Well, for Gaurilla I believe the first month is free. You can do a few activities and then via an option, you add your CA as collaborator, so that your CA can try himself and see if he finds it good.

  6. Thank you Chinmay.

  7. No problem. 🙂

  8. We use Tally for account keeping, Wave & Zoho Invoice for Invoicing. You can try Zoho Books too.

  9. Hi Nitin

Go ahead with Tally. Buy a multi user version. The latest is TALLY ERP 9.

You can do Invoicing, inventory,  also with tally.

You can customise tally with Invoicing, PO, Quotations, Link your PO’S estimates with Invoicing. THe Tally aprtners do customise. We in ALok’s C2W Group do use Tally and also do use it to its fullest possible advantage.

If you need can connect you with our Tally partner if you are in Mumbai. Tally is beautiful product.

  14. Agree with all the pros above. Wave is a super easy and feature rich accounting suite, especially for solopreneurs.

    Cons:

    1. Doesn’t support Rupee symbol.

    2. The server goes down occasionally.

  15. 1) Hey I’m able to get the Rupee symbol now, maybe they updated it after you left 🙂
    2) Never faced that problem. We have less transactions, maybe that is why we didn’t notice.

  16. Hi Nitin

    There are plenty of options.

I would suggest quickbooks for web based (and crave accounting for install based). Quick books have recently enter the Indian and are offering the software a low as Rs 5000. And the good thing about quickbooks is its a web based system.

Profitbooks & Accounting Guru (both web based) are other options if you have inventory based business. (will cost around 10K).

There is Accounter at  Rs 4500 which works seamlessly on Android and I-phone as well. (if you want to make better use of your smart phone 🙂 )

The free options are- Express Accounts, GnuCash.

Free options, If you are looking only for invoicing is nutcache. (its life time free and aims to earn on ads. )

Wave will not effective payroll for India and if you need Tally let me know your contacts, will forward the details to Mr. Rahul Ravi from tally and someone from tally will get in touch with you.

Also, We have recently done an infographic on accounting software on our blog- https://blog.softwaresuggest.com/top-business-accounting-software-sme/. It might help.

And if you are still confused, give us a call on 079-4003-3377, Monday to Friday, 10.30 am to 6.30 pm or drop in your number at ankit@softwaresuggest.com , will ask someone form my team to contact you on Monday.
