Hi fellow Rodinhooders,Actually I was just wandering whether it is possible to make completely passive income by just starting an online business or a particular kind of websites. if you have any online business ideas which can help in generating passive income of atleast 3-5k every month please do share.
I have some previous experience in blogging, affiliate marketing, social media marketing, content writing and online marketing in general. So any ideas keeping in mind my above experience will be appreciated.

There are lot of so called WAYS to make Passive Income on Internet 99% of them are either scams or illegal.
still there are many ways to make passive income online. My favourite was Autoblogging (I made some $$$ in early 2011 using the method)

Actually i have already tried the things mentioned by you and have already setup some blogs getting some traffic but the real problem is with monetization of those blogs. The thing is that i am not getting approved with Google Adsense which is one of the largest and best advertising network to monetize the sites.

Earning Passive income actually requires lot of “active effort” and effectively takes away the whole objective out of it. Who does not want a little trickle of continuous sustained income without any effort? Haven’t you seen those “one rupee PCO” boxes outside literally every shop and even houses in some small towns? Again, all they want is that little income where in they dont have to do anything more than initial setting up.
Sadly, this is like most such dream-wishes are just thoughts and too good to be true stories. there are really no such source of easy income.
Google probably saw what you intended to do and hence denied you the adsense account. i for one was literally awarded one but never opted for ads even when our site was under 1,00,000 Alexa rank. the reason was we were never keen on this and wanted to do something more active and rewarding and hence opted for e-com site http://www.indiacod.com
Even the blogging sites are trust me, “Sheer Hard work”. there is simply no short cut there.

Passive income and easy income, both are totally different concepts. Generating passive income , requires linking, learning and leveraging (of efforts ). It is a method and it is not easy. And not for all those who are looking for easy money. It doesn’t require full time efforts or full time work. Using Whatsapp, FB, skype ,etc to communicate and passing product information can give a huge passive income. If one doesn’t know, that doesn’t mean, it’s not existing. Lot many people in the world, are enjoying passive income. While others are wasting time on finding ways of easy money.

@shashikant, linking, social networking, whatsapp etc too requires efforts, it may be part time but effort required is full or else most of times it simply dies out. Now about oriflame, i use their online platform to buy products at 20% disc and also sell them on our website http://www.indiacod.com and so do many other sites. But the passive income in it what u mentioned is nothing but MLM (Multi Level Marketing) with business model almost identical to Amway which most will b aware. even today, i have under me about 50 odd active members most of whom do it for personal use and not as a source of income. the reason perhaps is that despite so many under me, i would just make 1800-2000 a month. Now i have almost lost all interest in the income part and use it only for personal use or for resell on site on sale.
Also for anyone looking for passive income, i would always advise against going towards amway, oriflame and the likes. the joining is fun but there will always be pressure to perform and one will always be pushed towards devoting more n more time without assured returns.
@Charu, mturk is a nice site, amazed that i had never seen it till date .have just bookmarked it for fun. in fact it is so similar to another site which i accidentally chanced upon called http://www.fiverr.com. it is an amazing site and one just cant leave it without trying out something. its that typical 99 rupees Chinese gift shop, once u r in, u will end buying something, for our site http://www.indiacod.com, i got a Android App by the same name INDIACOD developed and uploaded on Android App store for FIVE and got a QR Code developed for the site for another 5 🙂

Its nice site. We both are using ORIFLAME platform for our own businesses. You are using your site for selling products. look at our site, ie http://www.orimithila.com .We are using for information.
Basically I am a doctor, educationist and involved in some other businesses.But still earning successfully from ORIFLAME , without attending a single company function,seminars, without buying cassets, books of any MLM company.I won’t talk about any other companies, but we are using ORIFLAME platform very effectively to make money.
