Most of us can remember a time when we turn off our iron after we were doing ironing our clothes or worried if we did after we left the house. An iron left on for long periods of time definitely wastes a lot of energy and could possibly cause a life-risking fire.
We’ve solved that problem with auto shut off thanks to our patented technology that detects when the iron is idle for a while leading to it safely shutting it self down.
How Our Smart Iron Works.
We have an accelerometer chip installed in the Iron. It detects the idle state of the iron by detecting the absence of ironing motion and switches off the Iron after a set time. Since it completely shuts off Iron , it is safe and avoid the use of power.

Mobile and Home Automation Mesh Connectivity
Iron box is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 Enabled micro controller. Bluetooth Mesh network enables the Iron to advertise its status over the home automation Mesh network. Phone and Home automation consoles can display Iron status and parameters like temperature, power usage, water level etc.
Precise temperature control with the use of a semiconductor temperature sensor and micro-controller. The iron’s temperature can be set from your mobile phone . When the temperature reaches the set level and ready to use it give you an audio alert on your smart phone. No waiting by the iron while it’s warming up; you can be about your business around your home taking care of other things until your iron tells you it’s ready.
Conventional irons are designed sit in a vertical position when not in use even for a short while. The Smart Iron detects the position of the iron and allows the user to set an idle time at different positions. It’s customary to allow for a longer idle time when our smart iron is in the vertical position so the iron doesn’t get cold if you need to take a phone call or check on your dinner cooking on the stove. There are factory-set idle times for both positions of 5 minutes but can be changed to any time up to a maximum of 15 minutes.
Voice Alerts on Your Smart Phone; Your Iron is Calling!
Smart Iron is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 to advertise its status to a home’s network or to any connected mobile phones that have Bluetooth. This allows it to generate voice alerts on mobile apps announcing status.
Smart Iron keeps track of the usage history allowing the user to collect the power consumed during any given time period. If you’re like most people, you want to lower your monthly bills and the Smart Iron app helps you monitor electricity consumption which can help you lower your monthly electric bills.
The Story It is the era of IOT, we as a Home Automation Company did our brain storming to connect every single appliance and equipments and make our system a complete IOT enabled Home Automation System which makes a smart home even smarter. We have included every possible type of equipment in our plan and our Iron is not an exception. When we thought about Iron we ended up with a new innovation. We haven’t left out the pressure cooker, the light bulb, a wall clock etc. and soon we will come out with a complete IOT campaign. We made an unexpected decision to come out with Iron first to make a little fund for our R&D efforts.
