i understand where you're coming from. and i'm sorry you feel that way.

listen to where i come from. every time a rodinhooder posts a complaint (for which we've created a Pain in the Butt! category) i wince. i actually shake my head because it doesn't add value to the landing page! it doesn't look glorious. it's not wow content. it doesn't deserve a rodinhood t-shirt! 

and then i tell myself, hey! what if someone benefits from sharing this problem?! what if another rodinhooder can help this person sort his/her issue out?! WHAT IF THE COMPANY RESPONDS??? and you know what, y'day tikona broadband became a member and addressed a rodinhooder's problem. 

reliance did the same thing a few weeks back. 

we all run our own start ups/ventures but more importantly, we all live similar experiences in life. and if sharing pains & pleasures helps other people, then why not? 

sharing learnings is a huge huge part of "fostering entrepreneurship". "crowd wisdom" helps struggling entrepreneurs. 

sudhakar, i'm happy you voiced your concern here. what would make me happier is seeing you post something that "fosters entrepreneurship" and wows all of us. therodinhoods is just as much yours as it's mine or the next person's! 

i've got an advertising background, so my experiences and analogies are ad agency related. in an agency the creatives always want to do award winning work - "something we can enter in this year's abby's". but sometimes you have to let go of creativity and focus on functionality - something that would really benefit the client in the long run. so you end up doing non award winning work but something that works wonders for your client's business.

i'm looking fwd to your post sudhakar - something that drives a meaningful discussion. and i truly mean it!

p.s: we also have categories called "just for fun", "non business", "creativity" - we want to be open & flexible about the kind of content our members share...

Dear asha,thanks for giving it a thought,I fully subscribe to what u said on tikona joing the group and reliance doing the same,that's exactly my problem,it's supposed to be drawing collective wisdom and I really doubt what tikona or reliance add value to the community apart from solving a consumers problem there are lot of sites doing that if we intend to be one it's an altogether different direction.what I mean to say is I've joined therodinhoods with an expectation to have a meaningful discussion on entrpreneurial issues bcoz as most of us grapple with issues related to our ventures,most entrepreneurial issues whether it's raising money,scaling up or abt ur business models or even people Issues those are major issues for discussion on which the knowledgeable community of Rodinhooders will be of real help,everyday I think a lot of things and face lot of problems with my daily routine but I'm selfish and have no time to ponder over those issues,i will go to mouthshut and bash them up but at therodinhoods that's not expected.I'm sure lot of fellow Rodinhooders will agree.

I have a different take.

Therodinhoods is the what is on peoples minds. Remember the brand stands for 'thinking and doing'

If Hyundai HO has received a complaint and they do receive improvement ideas to become better - why not.

Some of most important things in life are bitter - whether they are in words or deeds. And no one can time them.

So, I am NOT purposely gonna write 'Happy' posts. Thats pretending to be a B grade Bollywood movie.

Alok,it's not really about Happy or sad posts,but what's the purpose of this supposedly sad posts,even if hyundai forces the dealer to change what's it in for me,I'm selfish I have larger issues to grapple with,so if you can post these on paininthebutt category it's ok.probably selfish people like us will bypass that content.
