The Next Best Thing to your Dream Bike is HERE. We are LetsService.

One thing is sure. Getting up early in the morning on a Saturday to take your 2 wheeler for service is one of the worst thing to dawn upon anyone. Riding all the way to the service center, Waiting outside in a queue, Filling up the job card, get an estimated time of pick up, wait for an auto and then get back home. There is a lot of time and peace of mind that is lost in the bargain.

NOW!

What if I told you that you do not have to do all of the above to get your 2 wheeler serviced?

I know it’s surprising but it’s true. Your favorite “On Demand 2 wheeler service partner” is now live in Bengaluru.

LetsService was born out of an experience where one of our founders neglected taking care of his bike and the bike gave up one day drilling a hole of Rs 10,000 into his wallet. And yes, you can imagine how he must have managed to spend the rest of the month on a shrunk budget.

With LetsService, you can now get your bike serviced sitting at home or office any day of the week. Our expert team of verified and trained ‘Bike Runners’ will come and pick your bike up from your home or office, take it to an authorized service center and then deliver it back to you safe and secure. And what’s more, We will also take care of your future service reminders and all you will have to do is ‘schedule a pickup’.

Here is what one of our customer have to say about us.

We have a profitable business model and our vision is to “Be India’s largest marketplace for post purchase service and product requirements for 2 wheelers”. We are live in Bengaluru and have already acquired a sizeable customer base.

About us:

We are bikers by passion and who better than a biker to understand the importance of timely service of bikes. The idea of LetsService sprang up from one of our co-founder’s personal experience while he was building his first start-up. He says “As the start-up life goes, you do not have time to eat, and servicing your bike is almost not a priority at that point. You are living bootstrapped and on shoe string budgets. I used my bike everyday riding 50+ kms and absolutely ignored what my bike was going through. One day the bike broke down and this created a huge dent in my wallet. While I had to shell out close to Rs. 10,000, I could not stop cursing myself.”

This experience gave birth to LetsService.in and we are now growing steadily bike by bike.

Do share your thoughts about the concept and potential ways in which we could be more relevant to our customer base.

  1. hey sachin,

i went to your site and saw “our story”. pls add it on your post!! most of our rodinhooders are founders and started up while by merely solving a problem they faced 🙂

also pls add relevant twitter handles at the end so i can mention them while promoting your post!!

only a bike lover can understand the pains another bike lover faces. will share with all my biker friends in b’lore!

  2. Hi Asha,

I am adding that right away. And also thank you for the feedback. Please help us spread the word as I firmly believe it is relevant to a lot of busy IT folks in Bengaluru. 🙂

  4. Hi Asha,

    We are @LetsServiceTech on Twitter.

    Sachin.

  5. Do you have an app? A website?

Is this a location based service?

  6. Hi Alok,

We are a website at the moment and soon launching an app on android. It is location based by nature but we are currently not letting the customers choose the service centers. We are building our partner network rapidly and based on coverage, will open up the feature. Right now we are taking the bikes to the nearest Partner Service Center of the respective brand.

    we are on http://www.letsservice.in

    Thanks,

    Sachin

  10. Thank you Naveen. Request you to help us spread the word among your connections in Bengaluru. 🙂

  11. Posted this on FB, posting again here on Asha’s request.

I came across Let’s Service from here and booked an appointment to get my bike fixed that was lying around for 2 years after couple of unsuccessful attempts to get it fixed. The guys came in the morning as promised, took my bike and returned it back in the evening in immaculate working condition. It was like magic! I was mentally prepared for about a week’s response time and a big fat bill. But the charges were so nominal that I almost kissed the guy who came and delivered! They even proactively renewed my insurance. the responsiveness and the attitude shows that these guys started up something they are truly passionate about.

@Sachin – you have a customer for life here. All the best, you guys rock!

P.S – The guy who took care of my service call was called Mahesh. His customer service attitude was one of the best. He’s a keeper 🙂

  12. hey thanks balaji! we feel so happy when even one rodinhooder benefits by posting on trh every single day!! and yes, that’s exactly why alok shares one rocking post every single day – you never know who can benefit from that one share 🙂

keep rocking guys. proud of you!

  13. That’s why I follow TheRodinhoods frequently 🙂

  14. Hey Sachin,

Really cool idea. So just to clarify, say I have a Honda bike and I log a request, so the Bike Runner would pick up my bike and give it to the nearest Honda service center and return it to me?

And apart from the charges for the bike, how do you charge your customers?

And some feedback about the website:

It is well designed and login with Google credentials worked fine. However after logging in, I was asked to enter my vehicle details and the button said ‘Save’. After clicking it, I got a notification, appointment booked. I think it is a bit misleading for customers who are checking out your site. Perhaps it can be modified as ‘Book service’ and then add a confirmation window. This might help weed out false negatives for you guys as well.

Another things I observed is, while entering the above details when I click on Home(on top right corner) I am not redirected to the website homepage. And opening a new tab with the homepage url showed the option to login again. I guess some minor technical glitch.

  15. hey sachin,

    how’s it goin?

  16. hey many congrats on the funding (in jan!!) and on being covered by ET sachin!! so proud of you!! pls update your journey for all of us – makes us so happy and proud when we get to read amazing success stories of our rodinhooders!!
