Yes. We’re finally back. After the longest gap ever! Last time in Mumbai, we had one of our most incredible Open Houses ever. It actually took us months to get over the excitement 🙂 

If you missed it – read Mohul’s extensive round up. Video links of each session have been shared in this post itself to give you an idea what kind of energy to expect this time, if you’re a first-timer. You’ve been warned!!

The Next Mumbai Open House is on January 16, 2016 (Saturday). 

PLS NOTE, THIS TIME WE’RE AT A BIGGER VENUE – OUR OH IS BEING KINDLY HOSTED BY THE BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE (BSE) INDIA. And you all will be seated at the BSE International Convention Hall!!

Digital marketing enthusiast. Founder of LazyNinja.in (an online t-shirts brand) and ShipNinja.com (on-demand logistics)… Mubaid has some amazing learnings for his age!

Anupam Mittal
Founder & CEO at People Group

Anupam started his entrepreneurial journey by founding People Group, which includes businesses such as Shaadi.com, Makaan.com and Mauj Mobile

Besides his operational role, Anupam is also an active angel investor with over 75 investments such as Interactive Avenues, Ola Cabs, Druva, Fab Hotels, PipeMonk, Pretty Secrets, Ziffi, PropTiger, Limo, The Porter, Ketto, InstaLively, Intelligence Node, Just Ride, TrueBil, Lets Venture and others. He is an advisor and LP in some of the leading VC firms in India.

Anupam Mittal has been voted by Business Week as one of India’s 50 Most Influential People and is consistently ranked amongst top Icons of India’s Digital Ecosystem.

This is a presentation session where 2 Rodinhooders who have been bootstrapped for at least 3 years, will get a chance to present their stories and tell us how they’ve kept at it for so long!!

FinTech Panel Discussion with Sharad Singh (Valuefy), Ravinath Dasika (Tavaga) and Kalpesh Desai (Nudge) moderated by Suresh Venkat.

Sharad Singh (CEO, Valuefy Solutions)

Sharad started his career with Infosys solving the Y2k puzzles.

He has been an entrepreneur for the past 10 years creating products for the BFSI sector. With his start-up Valuefy, he offers products to fund managers and has two out of top 3 asset managers in the country as his clients. 

In the most recent avtar, Sharad is baby-sitting Invezta.com, which aims to democratize healthy and low cost investing for the common man.

Sharad is an engineering graduate with MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Ravinath Dasika (Co-founder Tavaga)

Ravi graduated from IIT Bombay in 2006 and has an MBA from London Business School. Ravi has spent over 6 years in the DeltaOne trading divisions of Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.

At Credit Suisse, Ravi built several cross product Index, ETF and inventory arbitrage strategies to exploit differential pricing, tax treatment and time zones of different DeltaOne products.

Kalpesh Desai (CEO, Nudge)

 

Kalpesh started his entrepreneurial journey in 2007 with a venture in Employee Background Screening space called Screen Facts. 

Prior to that he was part of the leadership team at Standard Chartered Bank. He headed the Lending against Marketable Securities & Depository Services Business under Wealth Management for the bank.

Kalpesh is a MBA from NMIMS and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering. 

He is currently working on a Mobile App called Nudge Card Deals & More. 

Moderator: Suresh Venkat (Independent Media Consultant & Anchor)

Previously, Suresh was Technology Editor with CNBC TV18, India’s preeminent business news network. Suresh’s editorial expertise lies in the domains of Technology, Innovation, Green Businesses and Social Enterprise.

Shailendra is a first generation entrepreneur from a Farming Community in a village of MP. They are engaged in end to end integration of Herb Supply Chain from production to processing and distribution across the globe.
