The world cup is on us. I figured amidst our crazy lives, it makes sense to connect on a crazy game being played in a crazy country.
I did not watch the second half of Brazil vs Mexico. Sodding exhaustion took over. I wanted to share a few unsolicited tips to Scolari. I get that he is a world cup winning coach and I am all but an armchair football fan but hey, who cares. So here you go.
1. Your back 5 is solid. Have faith in them. Dont give them so much protection that you have zero creativity. Have Dante in place of David Luiz
2. Paulinho << Fenandinho
3. David Luiz + Fernandinho = Awesome
4. Oscar in the middle, Willian to the right, Neymar wherever he wants to run around and fall.
5. Play whoever you want up top. They wont matter. Actually scrap that. Whoever is tallest and heftiest, play him up front. He just has to be a nuisance and move around and drag defenders around.
These four behind will run havoc.
6. You will get your ass spanked by Germany in the Semis so atleast have fun while it lasts. You don’t have to practice playing them now.
I am gunning for Germany vs Argentina in the final with my money squarely in my pocket. Do you guys have any favorites? Any world cup thoughts? Any team you can bet on?
