  1. Yes, Shushrut Munje’s company got acquired. And I recently had my taste of the new company. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I actually called Hammer & Mop for the deep clean service as the service they provided me last year pre-diwali was excellent. In fact, I use Hammer & Mop’s cleaning service quite regularly. And as I have always had a good experience with them (barring maybe once) I have been a repeat customer over the past one and a half years. The service by Mr. Homecare was atrocious.

It is all very good to be ambitious and merge entities to expand operations. However, the quality of work is what the company is called for. And if the  company is unable to deliver on that front, what can I say!
  2. that’s sad to hear. have you shared your feedback with sushrut?

he always puts his customers first!

  3. I did CC him on the complaint. Haven’t heard a sound from them since.

Previously, he was very prompt to respond.

  4. It was clearly a mess up on our part, something we should have foreseen and acted on. We apologize for the sorry experience, and what you went through. Also, apologies for a late reply on my part – I’m no longer an active part of daily operations, and it was shocking to know the hassle we put you through.

While there is no justification for the quality delivered – it’s probably the festival time and chaotic transition that’s taking the toll on the teams. Your experience has been duly recorded and was escalated to the top management on the same day. We have taken steps internally to avoid a repeat of the same.

Merging Hammer and Mop with Mr. Homecare was beneficial to the team – we are confident that our patrons would find it beneficial as well. The team (me included) are working on implementing the same quality standards in this much bigger organization (20 times bigger, to be precise) and we’re sure the mistakes won’t be repeated.

Sincere apologies for the trouble, and we’re taking your feedback very seriously. Thank you for always being a valued Hammer and Mop patron. Your support has been crucial for the last 3 years.

  5. Asha, what a blessed writer you are.

Like a master craftswomen, who can weave together such disparate articles in one harmonious flow.

    awesome most 🙂

  6. thanks for your kind words ashish.

the newsletter goes out to everyone and is shared over social as well.

the least i can do is make it worth everyone’s time. and ensure the content gets read 🙂
