I am a new startup. I have some doubts about my Healthcare venture site development.
I have tentatively decided as under:
1. Domain- Godaddy, Network solution
2. Hosting- Amazon (1st yr free), Hostagator
3. Web Framework- LAMP with Drupal CMS
4. Payment gateway- PayPal, CC Avenue for India
5. I will be registering domain, hosting myself directly. FTP a/c shall be given to developer.
Now I would like to know:
1. Is above planning correct?
2. What step by step I should follow for web development. Photoshop, html, php, cms? Or directly with drupal?
3. What extra precautions I need to take for security and speed.
4. I want to develop a working model of my website and launch. To see how it works, its usability, links etc. it will be without any content (may be lorium epsum). How shall I proceed?
5. Can I add Drupal after developing and Launching the site?
6. Or is it more appropriate to develop the site directly in Drupal.
7. Can I have Expert opinion / Mentorship from senior LAMP and Drupal developer?
Please let me know your opinion for 1-7 above.
