It has been a while since I posted something in the community, may be still high with the Openhouse that was a super sucess at Bangalore just a month back 🙂
Having been involved in helping and contributing my time/energy/effort to build the Indian Start-up eco-system by virtue of leading Headstart Bangalore and its flagship event Startup Saturday and also through my involvement in every other platform, I have been observing the pain points entrepreneurs go through while trying to reach the customers.

In this regard, I am currently working on a project that entails having a show run exactly in manner as it does right now on FM Channels with songs being played on demand,having advertisements that don’t seem to make any sense to me and all they do.
Through my project I do not intend to change or introduce a new format of show to the FM Channels, the only thing I wish to do is instead of having random people as guest, I propose having entrepreneurs who have built extremely customer centric products talk about their product in a candid manner, in a manner that people who listen to the FM Channel get inspired to use the product on a day to day basis.
Having been in the eco-system for over 2 years now, I have seen so many entrepreneurs who have built some amazing applications/products that if people start using in their daily life is sure to make their lives easy. But, because these entrepreneurs are bootstrapped( most of the time) it takes so much time to reach out to people, that seldom we find ourselves using interesting and highly useful products designed by entrepreneurs.
Unfortunately, of all the networks I have been able to make in the past couple of years, there isn’t a single one that is connected to FM Channels, and I need to get this rolling quickly for the greater good of entrepreneurs and the eco-system alike. Dude! I seriously love your energy and enthusiasm, and really appreciate all you’ve been doing for the startups.
This is a great idea and really hope it works, but as an alternative may I also suggest you think of a YouTube/SoundCloud channel for this purpose and partner/work with with blogs like YS, NBW, LBN etc. to feature startups?

Thank you for the kind words Rishi, I am so glad I and we have been able to impact Start-ups and entrepreneurs consistently and continuously, and it is for this very reason I want to get this done 🙂
We already have the Start-ups with us through YS,therodinhoods,NBW,LBN and all platforms because having been in the eco-system it is fairly and relatively easy to partner for a greater good. Now, why I would not like this to become a Youtube/ Sound Cloud Channel and propagate through the mediums outlined is it will only reach to defined set of people who are into entrepreneurship and want to follow all the happenings.
But real users are people who may/may not be following all these blogs/channels and won’t we all love to show them how easy their life can be made, just if they got the opportunity to know and use all the wonderful products that are being made by entrepreneurs.Â
What is your opinion on this? I am surely going to give Youtube Channel a spin 🙂

You have a very valid point.
I was just thinking of alternatives to get something similar *started* if you’re interested. Plus even if a YouTube channel only addresses a certain population, I think the numbers are huge and there is a multiplying effect thanks to FB and Twitter. The drawback of radio as a medium is once the show is over, that episode is kind of lost. Having said that, if it happens it’d be really awesome!
