Recently we started a campaign to promote brand awareness of our product glass bangles and e-store www.banglewale.com, although our advertising budget is minuscule as compare to any other portal , but still I am sharing what I had experienced as non tech savvy guy and first time advertiser .
First with Facebook:
What I hate:
The only thing I hate in Facebook is that , they accept payment through credit card only, what the hell is this you are a major advertising platform, you must start excepting payment through other payment method also , like Google does direct credit transfer through net banking etc . I am selling in India to the Indian people but I have to pay in dollars, didn’t like this
What I love:
There platform is fast I mean very fast, you can make your campaign easily with simple option, not so bulky details, easy to use user interface, put your keywords and location pay money through credit card, “volla” your campaign is started

Things I hate in Google:
When I started with Google adwords ,there website take’s time in loading like Google have all the time in this worlds , its like using some sarkari portal, you have to fill information then more information then more information then more information. I try to start by myself but failed to do so. So I take help form there help center by the way these people on other side are helpful , So lady on the other side listened my problems patiently and helped me in what manner she can.
Now the most ridicules thing about Google adword they have restriction, say you want to sell your campaign to people who are buying sari as its logical to a company who is selling glass bangles to sell it to people who are buying sari , they said you are not allowed to so, this is against there policy, I mean I am paying you 8 to 10 Rs a click and still I not able to buy keywords of my choice.
I still move forward, now as I filled all the detail the lady on the other side says that my campaign still need to be approved and it takes further time , I am talking to Google why it take more time for approval, it should be approved instantly but not here,So in total it take more than 24 hours to get my campaign activated
All in all my personal experience is that Google adwords works like sarkari office, and Facebook charge me in dollars
I like to know from the community what there experience as a advertiser on these or on any other platform, or any tips and suggestion
