Requesting help to validate the business idea of PROVEGA SOLUTIONS

This is my first post on therodinhoods.com, appreciate any help and guidance possible. We are a revenue generating startup, which started 6 months back. We were working offline and are eager to launch our website by 1st week of October 2017. A quick look at what we are trying to solve 🙂

WHAT IS PROVEGA SOLUTION?

PROVEGA SOLUTIONS is a B2B eCommerce focused on reducing the pain points of a business or an institution, i.e procurement. Through our eCommerce platform and data driven inventory management solutions, we will help the customer look hard to find products, quick and easy sourcing from top brands, manufacturers, vendors and ensure the spends are monitored and reduced.

By having an extensive customization solution we ensure to cater to our customers specifications and needs.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

Most of the B2B eCommerce in the market allow a customer to trade through their platform only.

But at PROVEGA, you have an option to request for customization and our representative will understand the details and the product can be customized and produced.

WHO IS OUR TARGET MARKET?

The B2B eCommerce existing in India today are focusing on horizontal growth but at PROVEGA, we focus on Education sector catering to all educational institutions (school, college, universities), companies which conduct educational workshop, tuition centers etc.

WHAT PRODUCT CATEGORIES PROVEGA CATERS WITH?

We are focusing to be a vertical growth B2B eCommerce, so we are focusing on stationery and related items. For example, there are 2400 different types of paper and paper products which are available in India which no B2B eCommerce has listed and we want to focus on being the one destination for procuring these items.

WHAT IS THE GROWTH STRATEGY?

We would want to expand our reach thought Bangalore focusing on education sector, increasing our product line to lab equipment and chemicals , housekeeping and gifting. also to start focusing on corporate sector and professional labs.

    just ask the purchasing departments of educational institutions – how they currently make their purchases.
    i have a feeling this space is marred by corruption in educational institutions.
    so how will you bring about behavioural change is the key.

    go for it.
    take some action to validate your lean canvas.
    if i would have been a school purchaser guy – i would have jumped on this.

    also the deeper problem is that schools are not personalized , suck a lot, crippled with lies of society.
    so can you change that a bit through making them empowered.

    i feel there is a larger plot going on with education sector – the powerful control this segment and all they want is to cripple students so that max money can be extracted – otherwise why do schools suck so much.
