SellMouse – Convert your fans & followers into real customers.

Hey Guys, i just wanted to share about my recent startup SellMouse with you all here. Sellmouse is all about helping businesses convert better on social networks. Its about converting your fans and followers into real customers. Please let me know your thoughts about our product after reading the following. & sure, Lets make Sales cool again.

How often it happens that you have 100’s and 1000’s of fans on your social channels but a very few of them are your real customers? How often it happens that you post & promote a link with an offer on facebook and the only thing you see increasing is likes, but there are no sales? It really is a great need today for a tool that helps you convert your fans and followers into real customers.

CONSIDER:
Would Facebook users buy your last-minute FLASH SALE  for one of your limited edition product by simply telling them to type their booking order into the comment section of your post or product posts on your Fan page?

Example: A Sponsored/Normal post for the MOTO-G shows up in my news feed for 15% off for 2 hours. To Buy it I just type “#BuyThis” into the comments section underneath the ad or post.

Just typing #BuyThis or any actionable sales word is all it could take to sell your last minute discounted product or service to Facebook fans and users.
Seem to good to be true?
Possibly but stay with me as I’ll prove to you that this will work on Facebook and it’s very effective.

INTRODUCING SELLMOUSE:
SellMouse allows you to sell all your products directly on facebook page in the news feed of your fans and followers. Whenever someone comments #BuyThis or #GetThis or #KnowMore, will eventually end up Buying or Engaging with you over that product and thus helping you to convert better on Social networks.

With SellMouse, you don’t have to worry about creating a store on facebook. You just sign up with us, add an offer and you are done. We post that offer on your behalf on your facebook page (As a normal Post with Text and an Image & not a link) with a Default text added saying “Comment #BuyThis” to get this product in email.”.

So when ever someone comments #BuyThis, he will receive a checkout link of your (Retailers) website on his email directly. You will be able to monitor all sales from our dashboard, and track all the status of sales on who commented #BuyThis and who clicked on the checkout link that was emailed.

There is one more thing that is enclosed here, when someone comments on that post, his friends and followers also see your post & Thus it elevates your social media.

In a nutshell, SellMouse is a Sales engine for your online store on facebook.

Why this is the most effective way ever to sell on Facebook.
• The buyer doesn’t leave the news feed to take the first step in buying.
• The sales process facilitates impulse buying and makes us feel good, like we are really not even buying.
• Removes the “Buy Now” button from the entire e-commerce process. No clicking a button and then going to an order form.
• The Order form is the comment section in the news feed.

You don’t even know it but you are actually already in the order form.
This is brilliant.

If you’re a heavy Facebook user you know that the news feed is now part of our daily lives. We spend minutes and for some people hours each day scrolling, looking at our friend’s posts, liking their posts, clicking, commenting, and sharing.

The Facebook news feed is our friend and sanctuary.
Its where we go to seek a little joy and a place we go to alleviate our emotional pain.

What we type in the comment section of the news feed has meaning to us.
Would we ever betray what we write in the news feed?
I don’t think so.

We believe many merchants including Big ecommerce companies will start testing this approach when its about utilizing Facebook as a sales channel. As today if you Notice, all the e-commerce stores, like amazon, flipkart, or others, are all the time trying to push offers and promotions on facebook to redirect their fans and followers to buy their products (But the conversion is less than 0.03% as those offers include links and links never work on facebook). This definitely shows that people want to sell their products on facebook or other networks.

We believe that this is an opportunity where we have put our focus on to innovate and make sales easy, simple, and indeed Cool. With SellMouse, running flash sales on Facebook is the just the first step, imagine the same thing on the entire social networks over the internet, That is where we are headed.

WHY WE EXIST?
We exist, because we want your businesses should grow! Our mission is to make it much easier for individuals and businesses to sell their products to their fans & followers on facebook itself, eventually converting fans into real sales number for your businesses.

Please let us know your valuable feedback over our product. & also, if someone, a e-commerce store needs a free early access, just type in the comments & i will get in touch, or just shoot us an email to founders@sellmouse.com

Thanks

  2. Hey Asha, Since this is a launch Post, we have just launched it here. Though there are around 10 amazing BIG customers who are & will be using our product from next week.

Once they do, will surely share their names. 🙂

& Going to the link 🙂

  3. hey I just tried to login using FB but page is not loading for me at all. I gave FB authorization and after that it shows me blank dashboard.

  4. The fulfillment is not done by dropping a hashtag, so in effect you are taking the user out of Facebook to complete the transaction. You’re essentially facilitating the transaction by giving the customer a tool to buy.

This seems more tactical and why wouldn’t a brand use a similar hashtag promotion on their own? I’m assuming that if they are running an FB page, they do have someone who’s managing it. How difficult is it for that person to start seeding hashtag based promotions? Why would they hire your company to place hashtags in their user’s feeds?

  5. Hey Nikhil, Thanks for signing up.

if you must have noticed, your dashboard must be saying that your account is not approved yet.
    Something like this,

Since the Platform is currently in Beta, we are Hand picking and approving the profiles. Once your profile is approved, you’ll get a email, and in next 48 hrs, you’ll get the email confirmation.

Then you will be able to all the stuff SellMouse allows you to do. But please to add the phone number in the pop up that comes up. Its is a must.

  6. That is a great question Rahul, I was actually hoping someone should ask this question.

As i mentioned, the process is like –> Seller ads a offer on our Dashboard (& he is done. Nothing else to be done from his side.), –> Now we post that offer on his Behalf from his facebook page as a normal Image post. –> Now whoever comments #BuyThis gets an email with the invoice of the product and a link to pay. All done automatically.

Now considering what you are saying, think of the manual work that a business will have to do to execute this.
Also, technically, its extremely hard to make this happen in a way that they will be able to send invoice to all those who are commenting #BuyThis.

Also, Sales is never instant. It mostly is done by referrals, almost 50+% sales are always from referrals and word of mouth. So initiating sales is very important, this gives the Sales team of a business a pretty active lead.

And also, if you have read this:

Why this is the most effective way ever to sell on Facebook.
    • The buyer doesn’t leave the news feed to take the first step in buying. (The first step, sales initiation!)
    • The sales process facilitates impulse buying and makes us feel good, like we are really not even buying.

  7. Hi Rodinhoods,

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this post and the comments section too.Its a very good timely read for me as I have been thinking of E-commerce and Social media platforms.

I have been observing the Billions of  dollars pouring into The Indian E-commerce space and the Social Media giant Facebook making billions of dollars mainly as a platform to showcase any product/service.

I would like to ask, Who do you think will win the cold war ( helping partners so far as its a win-win) between E-commerce and social media as Flipkart, Facebook and many other large companies are in a race to acquire the rising companies?? I am sure theres something big going to happen in the Indian E-commerce system as I can clearly see the Multinational Consumer Goods sellers like P&G partnering with Flipkart to capture the Online Grocery Market. (You probably need to check this https://www.rewardme.in/)

And Veer, You must look into http://www.sellmojo.com if you haven’t seen that. They are helping sellers to create a store on Facebook in just 60 seconds. They can easily manage their payment gateways, order processing  and the most imprtant customer data with their easy tools. So,  As I have got your answer for  Rahul’s great question ” why brands with huge number of likes and followers can’t implement this hashtag method into their Facebook pages??” I would like to ask one more doubt here, Why do you think people will use  hashtag to buy any product/service by commenting #get or #Buy or etc. and then go to their Mail and then go to make the payment ?? It looks like a long and painful process. Now a days, no body is ready to take the pain. everything should happen at a few fingertips. If you take any successfull startup or any successful business, all of them are solving some problem and making things easier for the end user. At Sellmojo, they are not redirecting the user to anywhere and allowing him to stay on his/her most favourite place i.e.Facebook from the beginning of seeing an ad or offer on his/news feed  to completing the order.

So, I am just curious how your business model will compete with the tremendous market.

I am sure theres some interesting things going to happen in near future.

Wish you all the very best for your startup !!

P.S: Would be glad to hear your views.

  8. Rajaram, thanks for your question.

I certainly know what sellmojo does. & I know it accepts payments on your behalf (Trust me if you are ecommerce startup, you will never let anyone else handle your payments for your products.). &

    P.S

Do you know that there are more than 3.2 Billion Likes and comments every day on facebook (almost 1.5Billion comments every day) & at the same time Millions of Hashtags used every day. This shows the vast activity around comments and hashtag.
Answering your question on PRETTY LONG process of sellmouse, do you know that more than 60% of facebook users are consuming facebook news feed on mobile? And once you are on mobile app, trust me no one wants to click on a link that takes them off the app. (Even you will never want to do that, & this problem also surfaces when sellmojo does stuff. when you visit a facebook page in your app, the experience you will have, you will drop the cart, and instead do it when you are free and using it on dekstop).

What we want to facilitate is impulse buying. Just comment to take the first step in buying your product and get the invoice in email. Pay when you are free in the night time our your free time.

    As i have written, CONSIDER:

I hope this answers your questions. & Thanks for your wishes 🙂
