We’re looking for a bright, passionate person to work with us designing wonderful web apps & mobile wireframes. If you want to craft Beautiful, High-Quality user interface, StoreMonk™ have the job for you. We’re crafting an excellent Retail Software product and are located in heart of Delhi. Our focus is creating our own Web & Mobile Apps. We have a culture of design, but you will be our first full-time designer. We’re proud to be bootstrapped however raising our first round of Angel Funding shortly. Like any small company, you’ll have the chance to wear many hats. We put craftsmanship over process, and your design skills will help us bring that to the next level.
Things you will be responsible for and you’ll have the opportunity to work on:
- UX and wireframe design for Web & Mobile Apps
- UI visual design
- Getting the most out of Photoshop, Illustrator & other tools
- Rich app icons & mockups
- Internal promotional materials for print and video
- HTML, JQuery and CSS development
- Working with our engineering team to gather design requirements
- Frontend iOS or web development if you’re crazy like that
- Anything else it takes to make our software more awesome.

- Your portfolio, both visual design and wireframes
- Attention to details and intuitive sense of design
- Understanding of great visuals and user experience
- Experience designing applications
- Design fundamentals like typography and layout

Man I’m stunned to see a job posting for a full-time hire at a early stage start-up.
a) UX professionals in India rarely join early stage start-ups. Happy to hear if & when you have a full-time quality hire. Even in the valley, start-ups hire consultants on T&M billing.
b) Early stage start-ups don’t need full-time UX resources. Most expectations can be met with contracted time. And cheaper.
