There’s  nothing like QUIT….from your same business a brand new business can be created ..& from therre another…it goes on….& on..to new businesses…………..

  2. @Vijay : If you’re asking yourself this question, I think that you probably know the answer 🙂 Perhaps that is your gut feeling speaking ?

But I guess that ‘when to stop’ depends on a lot of factors – it just is not possible to give a blanket guideline. All said and done, the person who created the startup in the first place is the best person to judge when to leave.

I don’t quite agree about quitting if unable to pay the bills – if this is so, but the business is otherwise healthy or has potential, it still might be worthwhile trying to continue (via seeking funding, etc).

  3. ya Vijay what Anushka says has point, this is why  you set your eyes on new ventures or business once you feel you are done away, we have a example here -Alok , at right point he hung up his SOCKS, and ventured in to games2win. if one has that vision then its no hung up time, in US people always shift their focus to Non profits. along with other stuff.

  4. I am going through this phase. Gut feeling never gives you an answer. You have to be practical and take a call. I tried my gut feeling a few times but it always gave me an optimistic reply and made me work harder on it. You chart your options out and take a call it will be easier. I finally closed down my manufacturing unit and starting up with a new venture. Its tough to take a call but once you take it things are clear and you can focus on it better.
