Let me put an averagage of 500 kids per institution its 2,25,00,000.From what i am aware of /experiences, the only service that an institution seems to care about vis a vis student is placements.Each college has a placement cell and on an average it has 2 employees to serve the students.So a rough guestimate would be 90000 placement officers…

Over the weekend I was at IIT Kanpur. I was there to talk to students who had come from the best engineering schools across India to participate in the Asian leg of the annual Intercollegiate Programming Competition. The top team from India will be selected to participate in the world finals which will have about 80 teams selected from about 60 centers across the world.

Seems this winter has started freezing everyone .. either most of you all are aay on the year end holiday or are just freezing to use your nimble fingers .......... let's thaw !!

I claim to be a good cook. I indulge in this passion occasionally. But when I do, I will also invite few friends so that I can show-off my culinary skills. I select some exquisite dishes from the collection of cookery books that my wife maintains. I will then ask my wife to get all the ingredients and get the maid to do all the cleaning, cutting and chopping.
