…. at least I can know your ambition.
Had a very long meeting with this client today and while having lunch he said ‘ its ok to say I want to build next Infosys…at least this gives an idea about your ambition. Achievement is not important but knowing where you want to reach is important.’
The sentence is not a motivational statement or a philosophy…if you read it properly and understand it…it makes you to understand about something very important and that is“Where you want to go?”
(Note: The sentence is not about how high you can fly…it is about how high you want to fly.)
As a startup the biggest mistake we do is not finding that big picture or sometime we are afraid of thinking about such big goal. We think we may not achieve it or it’s too big to think even.
However what we fail to realize is “Goal is not important… it just gives you a path, it helps you to plan a path for you… achievement is not important but thinking and working towards it is very important”.
