Management Paradise (MP) is a site with the mission of empowering management students with knowledge, opportunities and networks. For the last eight years, MP has been serving the student community and making this mission a reality.

With a family of over 5 lakh members, MP is amongst the top 0.1% sites in the world. Recently revamped with a whole new look and feel as well as lots of new features, MP is moving to the next level.

If you have a keen sense of understanding what is ‘good writing’ for the web, we’re looking for you.

Typically you’d have a mass media background. A few years of experience, especially in the online space will of course be an added advantage.

Work will involve generating content relevant to management students both personally and through freelance writers. Alongside, you will need to constantly edit and refine what is posted on the site. We also would involve you in creating info-products and program content that we will deliver to B School students.

Money is not a constraint for the right candidate, especially because you will articulately convince us with your words!

Typically an MBA, though we are very willing to relax that requirement. A demonstrated record of direct selling will help.

However, additionally, we also want you to be able to think strategically about marketing – in terms of executing new revenue models and plans. On ground event management will also be helpful since we plan to do a number of events with B – Schools.

Work will thus involve building and nurturing relationships with our advertisers, B Schools and customers. A deep understanding of the typical B School student will be helpful.

Your package will comprise of rewarding performance linked incentives. If you think you’re good, we need you. We promise to help you become better and then the best!

If technology turns you on more than porn (or shopping?) this is the job for you. You will be responsible for the functioning of MP as a site. At the same time your job extends to visualizing the look and feel of the site – and hence the user experience.

You will need to expertise in PHP and should have sound knowledge of smarty and zend framework. Knowledge of vbulletin and social engine CMS is a definite plus.

You should be able to convert business problems into technology solutions – and hence what will they mean in terms of actual on ground tech changes.

Qualifications aren’t as important to us as proficiency is – so if you can show us you’ve got it in you, we’ll be happy to have you on.

Starting from negotiating with suppliers and vendors to keeping tabs on basic tasks, admin we believe is a large spanning responsibility. Typically you will be someone who loves order and is a great negotiator.

Execution skills will be best proven with a demonstrated record. Education is of little importance – willingness to do and learn are far more.

Since you will have access to all information, we expect you to be extremely discreet and measured too. Hence basically, you will be the provider and care taker for all our precious people!
