Hey Akshay this side, I am a final year student who wanted to dropout but was forced back into engineering. As a Thinker I have ideas pooping from now and then,I suppose these ideas can really prove fruitful if executed with perfection
Attending a boring lecture which I don’t usually do I was idea struck !!!
There are almost fifteen to sixteen IIT’s in India , my idea is to setup a company for those interesting brains whose idea’s can be turned into success stories / entrepreneur.
15 IIT’s X 10 Best Ideas from each IIT = 150 Best Ideas
Again sort from these 150 best Idea to get 10 REVOLUTIONARY ones provide them with resources extract the best out these 10
Why IIT’s not because we have geeks who can only be found in these kinda Institutes its because of the reason capitol we need investors to do this investors will only invest if the possibility of getting success is 100 %
Later we could move this project to every level so that we have a fight for the BEST-EST
what usually happens
I am in search for people who can support me guide me for this project
pls feel free to comment criticize share

How is this different from any incubator or In50Hrs. Why will the ideators work with you? What will they gain? Whats the value proposition?

Akshay, my brother, I can understand…
You wanted to dropout because you have bubbling ideas…
I know that feeling..and now you have found a great platform in Rodinhoods!
So Congrats!
Then getting back to the topic:
1) Gourav covered up many relevant questions, I hope you answer them in your comments.
2) Ideators would give their idea, Investors would pour in their money..
what is gonna be your contribution dude. When it is about creating value in your own organisation, employees would look after the owner! No no do not get me wrong here, m not talking about degree here. But you need to define clearly your role in the particular organisation..
(I will manage the proceedings wont work.. :))
3) One of the brightest minds over here, Abey John once said, Focussing on the next biggest idea takes you away from it…
you have to enjoy the chase, dont focus on how big the catch would be. Romance the idea my friend. I hope you are getting.
Now if you can answer all these questions successfully…
You have actually thought of an Incubator as your startup.(Kudos Gourav)
Incubator for IIT’ians..Now here is the trick, why would they come to you. we all know IITians are spoilt for choices!
How would you create value and conducive platform for them…
So right now, your task is…
1) Get clarity! clarity clarity clarity…
2) Define goals properly…
3) Once you have done that, start executing. do not wait for any damn thing in this world. Believe in your idea, once you are convinced about it!!
All the very best Akshay. Happy Entrepreneuring!!!
