They welcome you with open arms…
They try to influence you with different charms..
Never do they ask for or need any break..
Someone give them a holiday,just for Christ’s sake!
Morning to evening they rust and rust..
But for survival, it is a Must!
I’ve experienced it first hand and I’ve got news for you..
Its not that easy as it looks to a few..
Without the dukaandaars the markets would be dull…
There won’t be any zeal and even the buyers would get lull.
The shopkeepers of india are a species so rare..
While working, for nothing else do they care..
They let their family life and health take a toll..
And regret all of this..when later in life, down they scroll..
They’re blamed for charging extra amount of money..
As if the others are so honest..just give me a break honey…
They’re expected to deliver always on time…
When they ask for payments, they’re given stares as if they’ve committed a crime..
Oh its time for shop..and I’m all set..
But don’t forget to give the shopkeepers some respect!
