Are you a Business Writer-cum-Juggler?!

As you know, we’re nearly 8000 members now. To fuel the fire, keep apace and scale, we need to add a Business Writer to our team! 

So who exactly are we looking for? 

Someone who:

– writes immaculately (great command over English)

– writes fast – thinks of an article and jumps into it immediately (a non-procrastinator!!)

– understands startups, startup jargon, follows and consumes entrepreneurship-related content regularly

– is people friendly (errr… we are a community!) and a team player

– has excellent communication skills (you’ll need to play email-email with lots of folks, plus pitch-in with managing the community!)

– loves interviewing people and writing about their ventures

– strives to be a perfectionist (we curate our content in a certain way)

– is passionate about helping people

– enjoys covering startup events (the ones that happen in your town!)

– is social media-savvy (if you love twitter – you get extra brownie points!)

– is in her/his 20’s [our new member demographics indicate the average age is 23! Alok & I are young at heart but aren’t really in our 20s 🙁 so we need a different perspective!]

– is kicked by the idea of having a rodinhood email id 🙂

–  doesn’t limit herself/himself to JDs

In a nutshell, we’re looking for a passionate person who is truly a thinker.doer.

Our Business Writer will be reporting to the Editor (that’s me) and not Alok (He has three other companies to run!). So if you are okay with exchanging dozens of emails with me every single day, then only apply. 🙂  [always better to clarify, naa?!]

You will be expected to assist with some of the day to day admin functions apart from writing (we did mention juggler!). Though we’d prefer an experienced startup/biz writer, we are open to proficient writers from other fields who are keen, hungry, fast learners and errr persistent!
