Dear Rodinhoods,
It was a cold auditorium with most of us rubbing our arms for warmth until the session began at the NSE. The warmth that comes out of positive feedback and that collaborative effort to put thoughts into making ideas work or detach from them completely!
This was the first time I spoke at the Rodinhoods and was quite delighted to note the interest in learning from other’s failures. I am not sure if I have heard of many forums where Failures can be Celebrated and this is one of the reasons I decided that I must share my learning.
I remember the same look in the audience that I had; when I first discovered the reason for my project failing! Not enough coconuts? LOL A few reactions that represented mine in 2005:-
Are you serious? Not enough coconuts? There must be a different issue like logistics or supply chain or technology. 6 months of research with complicated calculations and we miss out the sperm?
Yes! Fundamental requirements may render years of research wanting! Does this failure tarnish your future? No we just learn from it and move on. That is why we are called entrepreneurs!
Full time in pursuit of happiness!
