When it rains it pours. This time, at the Mumbai Open House on March 28th, we didn’t have one panel discussion, but two!!
We decided to do something very different than we usually do. We invited media experts like Suresh Venkat & Arun Prabhudesai to talk to us about everything to do with New Media.
They covered topics like the changing patterns of content creation and consumption; The ability to influence and bring about change through new media & citizen journalism; How to make money when everything is free?! And much much more!!

Suresh (a dear friend of trhs and Alok), is an Independent Media Consultant & Anchor
Previously, Suresh was Technology Editor with CNBC TV18, India’s preeminent business news network. Suresh’s editorial expertise lies in the domains of Technology, Innovation, Green Businesses and Social Enterprise.
With over 15 years of media experience, Suresh was with CNBC TV18 for eight years. Prior to this, he was programme director and radio jockey at RadioCity 91.1 FM, Bangalore and a producer with Channel [V].
And Arun – a rodinhooder himself, is Founder Trak.in, My Open Courses
Worked in IT Industry with top MNCs for over 10 years in US and UK and returned back to India to fulfill his desire to startup on his own.
After mixed success with his 2 startups, he is now looking at making Trak.in one of the most visited Tech news and opinion sites in India.
