GoOma (Go-Oma)
With GoOma we are going to solve this situation. We have launched this app Gooma, where you can register and raise a ticket for your laptop/desktop issue. And we pick your device from office/home, repair and drop that back at your doorstep.
Meaning of GoOma
Go is the English word, Oma is a Dutch word which means grandmother. The reason of keeping is such a name is to reflect that, we can solve any Technical Issue related to Desktops & Laptops with very good customer support. With customer support, I meant the behaviour of our staff would be heart warming. This is a feel good factor that we want to share with our customers.

Step4: You receive an SMS/Call from us for the repair charges
Step5: After confirmation, Our technicians fix your device
Step6: Our pickup guy delivers your device and collects the payment

Have installed the App. You would not need to set OTP. Fix the UI and website.
1. If I am the customer, I would expect you to repair at home. As you are unknown to any customer.
2.Also, piggyback on existing Ola kind ones.
3. You need to advertise in Madhapur and other IT areas.
4. Movie advertisements, as well as OLX, Justdial kind of places. That’s where I usually search in Hyderabad.
5.All this apps, common floor, Housing.com, food apps are famous in Bangalore. Hyderabad is a long way to go.
6. For servicing, we still go to amir Peta or Secunderabad areas.

Congrats for the new startup.
Two things i wish to suggest,
Firstly. the customer i guess would not be interested in hassles of downloading ur app….as u know problems in Laptops and computers are not tat frequent happenings…. so try to keep it simple
Secondly see if u can reduce the roundtrip time, ie u may think of over night services,which means the product is ready by early morning…
Think over it, i have a few more ideas, pls contact me if interested.

BTW, I believe the reason for the App boom is basically due to get over the pain of calling the customer support executives. The idea was same for creating the app for our services too.
