Helpp Me – Help with App

Hello Everyone                  

(Please excuse the English – I’m not a great writer)

I am new here, and as this whole community is helping each other I thought to ask for help with help of this awesome helpful platform, yes I have used the word “HELP” many times, even in the title I used Helpp with wrong spelling but these days the word “Help” is allover on my mind.   

This started couple of month ago, at Midnight. 

(Yes, most Entrepreneurs get idea at midnight and can’t wait till morning to share it with someone and before alarm rings, they even start to think on how to generate revenue from it, I am one of those poor guys) 

After changing 100s of channels on TV I finally went to bedroom, after all mobile needs my time too, (yes, I am single)

Just before sleeping I remembered, I have to leave in early morning for meeting & venue recce.

From here problem starts.

My laptop charger is not working and I will need it in meeting.

Now.. what..? 

Asking my friends & relatives at late night was not possible,

Early in the morning I called nearly 12 friends and fortunately one of them was having same laptop model n got his charger.  ( See, Har ek friend jaruri hota hai..)  

That night I was not able to sleep and was thinking what if we have some application where we can post our need (i.e. charger) and everyone from our phonebook/app users get notification? Thats how we can get solution from our friends & relatives only.

Yes this is about an App idea, Sharing with you all for your valuable feedback.

  App name: ” Helpp Me ”  (Help + App, yes whatsapp is the inspiration for name) 

There are many apps for Chatting with our contacts, but this will be first app which is helpful in exchanging help with our contacts, 

  This app can solve our day to day life (small) problems like

  Looking for maid, job, web developer, app developer etc.

  Buying/selling secondhand cell phone, car, laptop, TV, furniture, etc

  Buying/selling/providing/renting Flats, Services etc.

How this will be different from other apps like Quickr, Olx, justdial ? 

Buying & selling need trust level for quality & price, you can trust more from your phonebook then olx, quicker.

To get Home maid servant and hiring them is risky business, one cannot trust unknown maid and cannot hire without any reference, but with this App user will get them easily with reference.  

You will get contact numbers of many from justdial but sometime someone from our relatives or friends are doing same business and we forget at that point of time, and we give business to unknown, 

By now you all know i am not that good in English, But i tried my best to make whole idea  clear as much as possible, 

Now sharing what kind of features we can have in this app.

Features:

1.Posting Need for help with: Text, Multimedia & Map

2.Posting to selected contacts, Multi selection, Group,

3.Posting to urgency level, high, medium, low,

4.Edit, delete, re-posting options.

5.Post Social Sharing options

6.Posting to other users as per city, country, etc.

7.Receiver will get Notifications

8.Block options

9.Forward to his/her contact options.

10.Rewards on solutions

11.Reviews.

 etc,

This is rough idea but when interested people will meet on coffee (or beer) we can add more.

Need your Help as in:

     1.Do you think this idea will work?    (not being over confident)

     2.I have no idea How to generate revenue from it. (app will be FREE & with No advertisement)                 

     3.Let me know if there is any App already.

     4.Reference for best App developers.
