How about bringing Two Factor Authentication with just a Missed Call…
The basic idea behind 2 Factor authentication lies in the loopholes, one could see with the implementation of OTP OR Missed call based verification. the sole purpose of OTP and Captcha is to help reduce spam and generate a Clean and Trusted user-base.
But did you know,
1. There are several websites which provide you temporary virtual mobile numbers ( which could be used by spammers to receive One Time Passwords / deal codes / offer texts without revealing their owned number )
2. sms Apart, few of the sites allow you to give a missed call anonymously, from their hosted telephony application.
With such reverse techniques, actual purpose of user authentication doesn’t really get satisfied. and thus we have planned to Build powerful 2-Facto authentication plugin on top of Dial2verify’s Missed call
telephony platform.
The plugin could effectively act as a replacement to OTP, Captcha & Traditional Login Prompts and would automatically perform owner device verification. thereby providing a simple, speedy and an effective way to control spam and build legitimate user base.

Pricing plan is very attractive and I guess zipdial doesn’t provide owner device verification. Dial2verify can ensure that an offender get identified if he routes his missed calls from virtual system other than mobile device.

The whole Idea behind Two Factor authentication using Missed call is about ‘Very Well Ensuring That Missed Call Originated From an Authentic & User Owned Device ONLY‘. ( As there are several techniques available, which allows user to spoof the caller id, Our technique will ensure, these systems wont help malicious users 😉
