How can conferences , events such as our open house increase engagement levels , networking through twitter , FB ?
Are there any good apps for event managers to drive engagement , fun?
As an audience member – what benefits would you like from such an app ?
some things that i would like are :
Car Pooling before the event.
Bring along a friend – tag someone to attend the event.
Use of hash tags for event .
Quiz , poll among attendees .
shoutouts,cheers for active members , volunteers.
What would the moderators , event managers need from such an app ?

there are apps – will share when i dig through one of my folders :))))
there’s a great one that sorts out pix of the event from social media (which we should use!)
– imran ladiwala launched his app ‘Catch It’ at the mumbai OH this time – it helps sharing content/images/videos etc. (ps: karan – where were you??!!) – but he hasn’t posted it yet on trhs 🙁

– a lot of rodinhooders who present have contests – so something to assist them in deciding the winner/interacting with the audience, etc
– at events you like to give away on the spot prizes for tweeps
