A big Hello to the Rodinhood Community.
We are happy and proud to announce the launch of our 3 month venture www.kraftout.com to all of you.
Kraftout is our small venture making efforts to change the way we use our daily products. We use a lot products in day to day lives and are so used to it that we almost forget that even they can have a better form and function. We are group of engineers trying to work on such products and increase their utility by enhancing their functionality or design or portability.
Who are we ?
Kraftout currently is a 4 member team who are regular employees during the day time but get into the entrepreneur/developer mode at nights. Building or exploring new and exciting products is all we love and are passionate about. Being bootstrapped we spend our salaries on product development and production ( also the main reason why we are still at jobs ). Each one of us comes in with a rich experience in his field which covers marketing to manufacturing to handing the tech end of website. Common love for good products keeps us united.
What have we made ?
When we initially began our operations we had a lot of products and operations in mind. We discussed ideas. We also wanted to be an apparel website once. (Thank God we didn’t). Amidst all this we found that we can make simple product which we have already used a lot. The Whiteboard !! Ideas stayed on the wall, it was not portable, we had to stand up every time and the whole world uses it.So we decided to find a solution. We discussed ideas and looked for portable whiteboards. We found some but none were available in India. The best solution was to make a whiteboard notebook. It was portable and reusable and not to mention saved paper. It may not be the perfect solution to replace notebooks but it was the best solution for something between whiteboard and notebooks. It was easy to take small notes or illustrate half baked ideas. After many prototypes and sizes we had built the final version which is now live on our website. We have recently launched a smaller version with colorful graphics with more to come soon.
Today within a span of 3 months we have sold more than 2000 doodlepads and have served 17 different corporate clients small and big who are using the doodlepads and are pretty happy with it.
What can you expect from Us ?
We are now in the process of scaling our operations and we have some exciting products lined up. We are also shortlisting small and big products from around the world which are not available in india and bring them on our platform. With funds rolling in from the sales we are now much more confident and will start working full time to build a few more awesome products.

YES , we provide complete custom design solutions for our corporate clients. We have our own design center where we provide options to customers incase they are not sure what they want and how they want it.

Portable whiteboard is brilliant.
I had the same idea couple of years back but could not pursue it.
I guess the only thing you should consider is how to stop the concept from getting copied and being mass produced by some other party.
