Sales sales sales!
I am pretty sure that their are many sales peeps out here, must be a few so called “Growth Hackers” too. & since you all are the expert at it, i need your help.
I hope some of you must be knowing my startup mYwindow. ( www.mywindow.me ) We are a platform that allows you to sell anything with just a link. Like Code or Music or Psd or Ebook, tickets/registrations or even memberships.
We believe that there are millions of artists unaware of such ease where they can earn and make living out by selling what they are creating. We want to cater such amazing peeps & organisations that do good. Now the reason for starting this discussion is, i need the Jordan belfort for my startup. I need the guy who can convert Name sheets into customers on the go.
Me and my founding friend, we have been dong it from some time now and we are doing pretty good, but we want someone so dedicated with us on it that we can take our thing to the millions of artists out there.

Just clicked the link to ur site. a few questions
1. How is it different from say http://www.fiverr.com, the concept appears very similar. No issue really if its the same or similar product, just trying to know more.
2. i could only see one item for sale for about 2 USD. nothing else really. Am i missing something?
Only high point was that ur site opened pretty fast even on my extremely slow internet connection!! (dont ask why i have a slow net connection!!!!)

1. Fiverr is more of for services and it has a huge division in it then. On the contrary, at mYwindow one can sell anything like a Digital good (Music/PPT/PDf/Designs/Code etc)/ take pre-orders and even sell event tickets online.
2. We are not a market place, we are more of a self commerce platform.The product that you are talking about is a demo product (If you have seen its written there “Click here to see DEMO”), Now if you wud have scrolled, u shud have seen a testimonial by a very know designer and independent author Charlie who is selling his e-book through us.
How mYwindow works is extremely simple:
You click on Start selling here and signup to go to the dashboard.
You add your product–> set its price ( if you want, also in multiple currencies)–> share the unique link and sell to your audience on the go. Like shown below.

Sorry I don’t have anything important to share, but wanted to give some feedback. I have been following your product for quite sometime and frankly I believe you should have pivoted lot earlier.

The company was founded in 2007 and is based in New York.

For the past three years, William Etundi, Jr. has led See.Me from a scrappy side project into an International business involving hundreds of thousands of artists and millions of viewers.
See.Me has an active user base of designers, photographers, filmmakers and creators who can share their work and earn money from it on See.Me’s platform. For now, See.Me generates revenue by taking a 5 percent transaction fee on tips and donations made from user to user, but eventually the company will get into postcard creation and distribution. After that, See.Me’s printing efforts will extend into T-shirts. (Wearables, FTW!)
The company is raising a $1.25 million Series A from betaworks, Founder Collective, OATV, Box Group, and potentially accredited investors on the brand new Alphaworks platform.

See.Me is using the Alphaworks site, the betaworks site, and its own website to promote the initiative. A new venture called Alphaworks takes the traditional crowd-funding model, as made famous by Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and offers equity to backers instead of a product.

But as you know, good things take time! And we believe the pivot is really amazing. Though instamojo and easemysell and many more are on the same domain, we have the first movers advantage on Mobile.

Also, what i wanted to get out of this discussion is some ways to sell stuff and make more sales on my platform, thats why i mentioned that i am looking for my Jordan Blfort. But anyhow, i’ve been personally a user of See me from a long time now and the concept they are working on is real great and that is the reason i like it.
But consider a use case, You create a short e-book of 20 30 pages on making the landing page most optimized with some case studies and you want to sell it. You cannot do it with See me, Here comes mYwindow in picture. You upload what you want to sell, set its price, share it to your audience and sell & earn on the go.
Although our focus is on creators, but it does not mean that only designers, photographers, filmmaker are Artists, even a mechanical engineer is a creator and we are here to serve them. This is 1st face of the coin i.e the business model, the other is: Using our API + Overlay + REST calls we want to expand into enterprise level i.e more B2B users in future through us. Will share about one such company soon which is using our API on their sire to take their business to a greater heights.
