Hello everyone, I need your help!
Recently I took an Enterprise Leased Line Connection From (Tikona Service Account Number – 1110155300) as I was a Regular user of Tikona Broadband. The Sales Person was very nice to me as he has sold connections to me earlier and now sold the leased Line but Guys here What he Did to Trap me.
Being a Techie Guy, I had known that 128 Kbps Download speed ( in Technical Terms Called as Transfer Rate) would be available for 1Mbps Leased Line. The Sales Person has Promised me that Don’t Worry We can Give you 1Mbps Download Speed (Transfer Rate) as no Other Company Gives.
Even gave me the Reference of nearest Point of Installed Premises and I believed on it as it was really Giving 980 kbps Download Speed ( Transfer Rate) (images are also available with me) . So I Finalized the Connection.
Here What the Story Begins. As the Person was known to me he has taken a Cheque of Rs.36,050 and filled the Form. The Charges he has mentioned Rs.5000 installation and Rs.60,000 + S.T for 1 Year that comes around Rs.67,416. We requested the Person to Provide the SLA Agreement after Reaching Office.
Guys, I kept faith on the person but he didn’t Provided any SLA after so many Reminders and Finally Connection Got Installed on 3rd May 2014. After Testing the Connection i found Voila! I have been Fooled! The Connection is giving the download speed of 128 Kbps Download Speed (Transfer Rate) not 980 kbps ~ 1 mbps as shown at reference point.
I took this connection to get the higher download speed else I was already satisfied with 1 mbps Broadband which itself gives 128~rarely 180 Kbps and paying 800 approx. I had clearly shown to the Sales Person almost 4-5 times.
Now The Story Begins of Fighting with Tikona Enterprise Team
We Complained via Email to Tikona Enterprise Support Team regarding the Wrong Commitment.
Mr.Ashwani Kumar the Enterpise Service Manager first of all tried to drag us on the issue mentioning you are getting good speed and avoiding wrong commitment. even avoided about the issue of not giving the SLA Agreement.
We strongly replied to the mail and Mr.Ashwani then called us on the phone, settled the case and requested us to drop an mail putting the discussion on record. He promised that Rs.5000 of Installation would be refunded and only the usages of 7 days will be considered and rest of the amount would be refunded.
Guys – What this person has Actually Played with us that he has Disconnected the Line from Core End but when we asked for Refund Amount Confirmation to Avoid any Dispute further. he has not Provided initially for few days then forced us to handover Equipment by taking us in confidence on Phone Call.
Our Reply
We emailed again to them and asked for the amount finally we are going to receive but, as usual, none of the enterprise support team replied to us. Finally Mr.Ashwani replied to email and forced us to handover the equipment first. He even contacted us, talked to us so nicely that I agreed to handover the equipment, keeping the faith again. Finally, we handed over the equipment after call communication. Finally they confirmed us the handover and connected with Sajid Sheikh from Billing Team. Now, since 28th May, they are not responding to any direct mails, calls and complaints to Customer Care. Even Mr.Ashwani has been negligent about informing the billing team. So my billing is also going on. It has been confirmed by Mr.Amol after sending so many mails to them. I have spent multiple hours sending countless emails, and have records of all of them.
I Request all the Rodinhooders to Please help me to Recover the Amount. They are not Responding to any direct mails, any tickets,any calls too. They have not even Processed the Refund yet since may Month. I also Request all of you to spread this message and save other person from being the Victim of Tikona.

@asha – I reached to akosha during the period but No response received from akosha and in the mean time Mr. Ashwani has settled the issue. So i closed the complain on call received from akosha after 15 days of complain.

@sushrut . I seriously want to go consumer court if someone can guide me. Earlier i thought it would be closed as Mr. Ashwani has settled the case but was not known that such a managers can fool me in this way.

Hey, I’d suggest approach Akosha again and stay with them. It would be better if you take their normal business communication channels instead of directly involving Ankur at this stage. They would be the best guys. Let us know.

Yes, I have been fraud by this Tikona and learnt lesson never to trust on these kind of jerks and never to use this company again in my life.

I hope you know difference between
Mbps & MBps
When you say Mbps its Megabits per second
and MBps its Megabytes per Second
So when it is 1 Mbps that is you will get 125 KBps
and When you say 1 MBps that is 125*8 ~ 1000 KBps ~ 1 MB per second.
So if your plan says 1 Mbps then its 125 KBps speed is what you get (even if its leased line or Normal Connection)
So ideally you cannot claim you case on this regard, but you can claim it on regards of Fraud by Sales person.

I know about it my dear Friend. that’s why i have clearly mentioned the things in the post. Even i shown this to Sales Person too and confirmed it. The Sales Person too agreed no other Company can give what we give.
you can also see the Person has shown the example (check the image) due to which i booked the connection.
Finally my 36050=00 Stuck.

You shall approach Consumer court,
but before this
Just Post your Grievance on https://pgportal.gov.in/
under department of Telecommunication (Internet services come under this department)
And mention your case in details with Attachments, mail conversation and everything you have in details
And just send copy of this Grievance to them(Tikona) along with
“ap@trai.gov.in” , “ca@trai.gov.in” , “cp@trai.gov.in“, “daca@trai.gov.in“, “ddgpg-dot@nic.in”
your problem shall resolve with pace.
If this doesnt get your desired result Proceed to consumer court

Tikona is shittiest company. I dunno how are they still operational after so many frauds. Internet is completely filled with similar cases against them. Please do research about a service provider before proceeding with them.
