These were 5 high points of the movie that really impressed me:
1) the verse in the song in which disco dancer says ‘i am a modern man and give the woman oral pleazure’…
Nice expression of changing india sexuality mores and true declaration of the ‘metrosexual’
2) The water spilling – thanks to the Burka
I read that as a way of suggesting how silly it is – covering up women – AND ONLY Aamir Khan a Muslim could have made that point!
3) The launguage
Proves that Urban Indians (in Media and Advertising as shown) SPEAK THIS WAY.
Phew… thank God I am NOT abnormal!
4) When the woman reporter says ‘what are you doing this evening’?
Indian women DO MAKE passes at men !
5) The ANTI LESBIAN theme
That’s the only Negative I found… Is Aamir Khan a prude? Why did he have to go negative on lesbians?
OR does India still shun it??
Please add more insights as you saw them!!

very very nice point!

It was not Negative showing ANTI LESBIAN. It was how people still think of Lesbian/gays. We have that mentality.
Kudos to Aamir Khan. He didnt want U/ UA certificate. He didn’t want a single CUT. Took A and released it.

Guys… You should also check out Aamir’s interview with Rajat Sharma on Aap ki Adalat where Mr. Rajat Sharma tried screwing him and the movie and how nicely Aamir and Imraan Khan protected his movie.. One of the best interviews where Rajat Sharma lost 🙂

Use of vernacular terms like ‘tatti’, ‘lota’ et al were received with thunderous responses demonstrate that some where deep down we still are Urban Dihatis.
