Hello Everyone
I am new to TRHS and i need the view of rodinhooders on this idea. The basic idea is to be a “Guest mode” on mobile. Now, with this Application private browsing will be on mobile.
Suppose, A friend asks to borrow your phone, but you were Google stalking Justin Bieber. There is no way to quickly and securely hand it over. Now, with this App there will be two mode on your phone. One for you so that, Private browsing can happen on mobile and other mode will be for everyone. So we will not be required to worry a little and can give our cell to our friends for the moment. Your mode will be password protected and as your friend asks for cell phone, simply minimize your browser (come to home page) and later you can start your browsing again from where you have left. This will secure you files pic etc. which is there in your phone. But, since you have minimized, and for opening it again, simply put your password which will be only known to you.

My next android app is quite similar that we are planning but havent start with R&D .

Haha! great to know Nitish 🙂 It shows that the idea is viable. We will too start working on it soon. Let’s surprise the market with our App. Good luck to you and also to me 😉

though there are many apps based on privacy
Amit Kumar
Let it be…Ours will be surely different, infact it is. Will do it in a better way. Not so many apps of privacy are prevalent.

Sorry to spoil your spirit and enthusiasm, but it already exists for Windows 8 phones. Check Kid Zone feature on Windows phones. You can rename the name Kid Zone to Guest account and it works flawlessly and has a very smooth transition from one account type to another. 🙂

Hey Rishi, Thanks for your reply. It’s really great to know that, the feature is there in win phone 8, but still we have a larger mass of mobile users who r using other platform. As we all know, android and ios are prevalent. I think we can grab the still remaining shares. 🙂

So Not around many Heard of the “Incognito” mode eh ? Private Browsing, Integrated in most of the Browsers (In Chrome press Shift+Ctrl+N to activate) Change your settings to Start from where you left off.
Okay, so you’re going to go into C:UsersUserNameAppDataLocalGoogleChrome… or something similar to C:Documents and SettingsUserNameLocal SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser Data…
The basic idea is to go in, find where it says incognito (Press F3 from the keyboard and search it if required for ease), and delete part of that section. Google Chrome installs itself in a weird place… (You may have to enable viewing of hidden files and folders).
Using RegEdit Creating a DWord registry key called IncognitoEnabled with a value of 0 in the registry folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesGoogleChrome seems to disable incognito browsing (Be careful when editing the Registry in Windows or it may corrupt the OS.
For Apps it may be different or the Mobile Browsers as well, this goes for most of the Browsers on desktop, laptop etc (Just adding) OpenDNS does work during Incognito mode in Chrome
Many Other “Parenting” 3rd Party Apps are already doing the rounds for this purpose so just google them around or check the Play store or the itunes for the same as well. Has limited applications though some do prefer keeping it like you said – Stalking Justin for a start 😉
Cheers!!

You need not worry for Android too. The latest KitKat update has this feature too. iOS is still open. Go grab it guys 🙂
Amit Kumar
Sir, it’s quite similar with PC’s.. As in PC’s we are facilitated with such option which allows us to create account for different users. It will help in maintaining privacy.

Your idea is effective but i think…there are many apps with similar nature.but its always good if you can come up with better product than other…..people always move on if they find better product…so best of luck 🙂
Amit Kumar
Thank you so much Yunus, Yeah will try to make it better and flexible too. Thanks a ton!….Your encouragement will really help me to work on it with more confidence now. You truly said that, people always move if they find better product and experience. Cheers 🙂
