Hey Guys,
I would just to know your views on this idea of mine. Me along with 2 of my friends are starting up a website to help game developers in India. People say that the game developed in India are not worth it, but our view is that they are not getting any better because of the problem they usually face. As of now in Indian gaming industry there is no platform where indie developers can reach out to users put out their release dates and get proper feedback on the games from users. So aim of our website is to provide one common platform to these indie developers.
Also being a game developer I am faced by this question many times from school students on FB, that how to start as a game developer in India what are the right things to do and learn. As game development industry is still budding in India there is a great potential ahead. So we also aim to create a section in our website to help these students. This section will include articles on where they should start and what is the direction they should move in for the same.
We also aim to deliver news specifically related to Indian gaming Industry. And let people know that game development exists in India. As when I tell people that I am a game developer no one understand what it really means, they think its like playing a game. They dont know about games made in India, some of which are really great and have great potential.
Please provide us your insights on the same, help us improve and correct us if we are wrong at some thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have not heard of NASSCOM for Start-ups ?
10,000 Start-ups is an initiative of NASSCOM which is aimed at
incubating, funding and supporting 10,000 technology start-ups in India over the next ten years.
The program is partnered by Indian Angel Network and supported by Google, Microsoft and Verisign.
Then there is the Platform especially for the Gaming Industry NASSCOM Game Developer Conference an event which takes place regularly too connecting the Gaming Industry currently in its 6th Edition
To address the Game Developer community in India.
The NASSCOM Game Developer Conference started as an experiment in 2009 to address the game developer community in India which grew into an independent 2 day conference in its 2nd year attended by more than 350 + delegates and fabulous talks, post mortems.

Well I am very well aware of NASSCOM and it doesnt solve of of the purpose that we are trying to solve, they are aiming to connect the game industry and we are trying to make this information withing the industry available to gamers and people out there.
There is a great amount of difference between NASSCOM Gaming forum and our idea.

Maybe you do have Better Experts or Members than Nasscom, under wraps yet, like the website too, IDEA yeah that looks Great as well Currently, maybe you should also make a section which Forecasts the NEXT Technology coming up, Hope you already have the Gamers categorized, the Amount of Difference would only Show when you Differentiate Quantitatively and with Statistics if Any as well too!!
Games2Win, IndiaGames, Disney and a few others in the Domain, you should know about that too by now right ?
